I'm TH9, maxed all upgrades / research except:

BK - 12
AQ - 13
Walls all Lego except 27 of them

Since the update I've pushed off the thought of upgrading as going into being a newbie TH10 in the worlds as it is today is somewhat concerning.

For you both --- I'd say to get at least your base core of lvl 10 walls and royals 20/20 before TH10

Take your time and max it completely. What is the grand appeal of Th10? A broken town hall that is now just a stepping stone to blow by, just to get the new toys? Th9 is the sweet spot of the game. Until you can consistently three star max 9s, you shouldn't go anywhere imo.

I would hold off and work on getting your heroes up at least until we get some sort of idea about any upcoming tweaks. Loot is pretty unstable at the moment, in my opinion. Heroes in the teens is still pretty low for TH10 even pre-update, though.

Uh...no. Not even close.

For some, I suppose its the best they can do. Realistically- you are only halfway to maxed TH9 heroes, with the most difficult levels yet to come. And walls? Again, most difficult level still to do. Not sure how this quantifies for 99.9% maxed.

If you go by a time of upgrade then you are nowhere close to maxing if you didn't gem time. 7 day upgrade for each Royal once you lvl15. 30x7=210 and half that if you can farm enough de to keep 2 builders on them at all times. You're like halfway maxed. Do yourself a favor and get your heroes to 25/25 before you make the jump to th10.

People tend to use the term "maxed" meaning maxed defensive which I have never really understood. Maxed is maxed meaning everything with nothing to upgrade.

Maxing defenses are are always the easy part, it's heroes and walls that take the time .

That said, yes, I would stay th9 longer. Glad you decided that was the best course of action for you. You really don't want to be a th10 this update with sub par heroes. 10s are also in a very bad spot atm and I would think being a new 10 being smashed continually by elix starved 11s and other well developed 10s while you are trying to save 6mil+/per upgrade wouldn't be too fun.
