If you're 99.9% maxed, you're not going to lose much by going to TH10 either way. That tiny bit you have left to do can be finished while your town hall is upgrading, if you're really that close to maxing.

And yes, this, since many people say they're maxed when they only have heroes in the teens with skull walls. More details would be needed to give any solid advice.

King and queen lvl15, walls all lvl9 every thing else is max

I'm TH9, maxed all upgrades / research except:

BK - 12
AQ - 13
Walls all Lego except 27 of them

Since the update I've pushed off the thought of upgrading as going into being a newbie TH10 in the worlds as it is today is somewhat concerning.

its all just preference. i jumped early to get max troops for wars for my clan.

No max walls and heroes loot is horrible for new th hang around and wait for sc to fix economy first
