Friend of mine in another clan just did it but not sure how. So yes it can be done.
I think he did it on combo of GiBarch and defensive wins from trophy droppers.
short answer yes, mass dragon + boost everything. I've done it multiple times.

I'm a th9 in m1 and i came across a th7 in match making today, so yes; it's possible for a th8 to reach masters league.

I'm seeing a lot up here in Masters
Loot penalty being what it is, there's an argument to say it's better to be trounced by a higher TH than taking hits at your own level
A TH8 could just about make it Titan still.
Masters is definitely possible. I have a TH8 clan mate farming there. No set way either, just find your best way.

My wife did it with 10 dragons, 2 lightning, 1 poison, 1 rage, and 5 lvl 6 balloons and 1 earthquake in cc.
0 infernos = 2 infernos, therefore 0 = 2
2 wardens = 5 wardens, therefore 2 = 5
Conclusion: 0 = 5
