Exactly. How many people actually saw that post and how would users like myself know it even existed? This post is also not at all what we are asking for. I'm pretty sure everyone who is looking to hear something from SC would like to hear from the developers and not a forum community manager. Many people like to point out the forum is a small minority of clash players so why would the devs not release a statement on every platform they can as well as in game? Such a simple solution that all of us can see yet for some reason flies right over the head of SC.
Nobody reads every post in every thread, something important like that should have been far more prominant and easy to find.
I think a good first step to resolve the forum situation would be a sticky thread / announcement saying something like -
"sorry we did not respond much after the update, we are still looking at data from the last 4? weeks and this is what we think will/wont change in the next "x" weeks"

Now you and everyone else in this thread have seen it as well. I have also seen it linked in the main feedback thread many times.
It's the next stage. Legitimate criticism left unanswered becomes anger, which will be responded to. That answer will not be to the underlying criticism, but instead to the messenger levying it. It's known as misdirection.
The main feedback thread? You mean that 1000+ page mess of a thousand merged conversations? Yeah I'm sure everyone is taking the 10 days it requires to read through that looking for some post that isn't actually what we are looking for.

One off hand comment that no one will see unless they scour the forums is not really the way business should be done.

Well I agree, i would not like it one bit if the company I worked for had such an immature customer base. Giving one-star ratings to an app they haven't even played, based on idiotic arguments.
