I agree with you. Imagine being a game developer, developing a game and spending years on it. Would you like it if everyone gave your game 1 star because of another game you had nothing to do with?

To SuperCell:
Look, we can fully understand the new game, and that it'd been a work in progress for some time.
That's not the issue many people have.
It's the lack of communication, to your customers, on the games you already have out, that is concerning.
The fact that you pushed the TH11 update out, then vanished onto vacations, and left us with no official communications from you, is concerning.
The fact that you then returned, and only things we hear from you, is 1 minor patch, and a new game pre-release, when there's so many issues posted here for Clash of Clans, is concerning.
The fact that you still have not replied to the feedback, or any of the issues posted since the update came out, minus the couple right after that had to be fixed because of being "major" issues, is concerning.
So yes, there's going to be some mad people, and they will have a negative response to the new game, and to the youtubers that DID, mislead people. Yes, those youtubers misled the people, there's no way to argue that, but no, that may not have been SC's fault, and the replies to those threads were getting out of hand, I admit. However, people do have a right to communicate that they are upset, and the youtubers did deserve some of the comments that were not outright attacks, but did tell that people were not happy with their actions.
Now, lets please hear something from you, SuperCell, about the Clash of Clans issues posted on the forum since day one of the update's release. It's only fair to us, your customers, that have been loyal players, and gem buyers.
Lach made a comment:
No. We do however have a problem with lack of communication, and the first and only one, being the new game and a tiny fix. The youtubers is how the message was first shown to many, so unfortunately, they did get the brunt of the anger. It happened, and it really should not have. The one that should have gotten the brunt of it, is SC.And now, you have the audacity to call them out because they were invited out by Supercell to see their new game, and to get some footage to show their loyal followers?
Shame on you.
So, to coin Lach's phrase:
Shame on you, SuperCell, for not communicating.

The forum is a reflection of people's feelings and thoughts about the game. After a controversial update that angered many and the subsequent silent treatment, it shouldn't come as any surprise that there is little positivity to be found.
Also, people tend to express dissatisfaction more than they express praise because we hold a reasonable expectation that things will work correctly. This is why we're quick to complain when they do not.
This is a two-way street. There are many supporters of the update who constantly condescend and troll people with genuine concerns, but this is rarely addressed.

Nope.... would not like it one bit if the company I worked for had such bad customer relations that my hard work was trashed because my employer was bush league and couldn't handle things properly. I might even look for a new employer.
Wait... that wasn't your question, was it?
