I am guessing the threads are now merged, buried, removed due to the vitriol...here is some aftermath of disappointed people that read "between the lines".

Nothing wrong or childish about being an idealist and getting hyped. At least in the early days. At this point SC has demonstrated they can't be trusted

My great aunt used to say " never expect anything, that way you won't be disappointed if you don't get anything, and if you do it will be a nice surprise"

Of course the second part doesn't always work like that ... But she want that naive either !

Yep, should have use bold and italics.

BTW, either you're British or you need a spelling lesson. Come to think of it, they're one in the same.

I'm still trying to understand how so many people actually thought there was gonna be a fix or something. SC has said nothing in weeks but because some guys who make videos for a living post some very nonspecific messages everybody loses their minds thinking the update is getting rolled back.

It ain't happening.... New coc is here to stay; I am not a fan of it but I'm past the point of thinking complaining will help. I'll keep playing to war with my clan (which hasn't lost any members like everyone keeps saying about mass exodus) and I won't spend any more money.

I don't think most reasonable people expect them to roll back the update, but we do expect some significant fixes to be put in place to improve the biggest pain points. Instead we get complete silence, refusal to even acknowledge there's an issue followed by the unveiling of a new pet project by Clash of Clans youtubers which means they are specifically trying to appeal to us to play their new game.

Folks kinda have the right to be offended when the general feeling is "You destroyed what we loved and now you want me to help you make a new game a success while ignoring how upset everyone is?"
