Keeping it positive... Let's help! Let's move on and look at what can be done.

Hi,

Every now and then I log on to the forum to check what the clash world is talking about and normally I read loads of positivity and vibrant threads from devoted clashers. I log on today to find loads of disgruntled people with the main focus being the update.

like a lot of clashers I am still not completely comfortable with the update and find the fun has gone/is going and have noticed a decline on clan chat in a very active level 8 clan that I am in. I also see a lot of bases when searching using their walls to write words of displeasure towards supercell.

There is no doubt that the game needed to be refreshed and some new additions needed to be put in place to enable the th10's to progress. This has been a positive move and there is already a lot or people that have taken the jump to th11... Rushed or not.. But that ability to do what you want was the strategy element.

however.. Some other areas have been less welcomed.

1.. Prior to the upgrade players had the choice to push for trophies and/or farm.. This option has really now gone and personally I see no logic as to why. The game was for everyone and now a push for trophies is essential it seems and personally I would hate to be a th9 or below as I would think how on earth am I ever going to afford the upgrades at th10. In the past players would drop and loot/farm... IT WORKED!

2.. There seems to be a growing issue with war match ups and the lets say the clash community with no real sporting ethics.. I am not going to say anymore on this as I want this thread to be positive and a help to supercell to get these forums and clashers in the right place.

3.. Personal breaks and shields.. I work and don't always get on during the day.. I never/rarely get attacked and when I get home and it's my clash time I continually get kicked due to personal breaks and it's then extended because no one will attack me.. Is that my fault? I am in a league where I search to attack and am surrounded by th10's and 11's, so I'm not sitting in a low league with th7's. I used to get th sniped and that protected me during the day.. Not saying that's right but it helped the lower members gain trophies.. And also they could loot my collectors.. But if a higher player came across my base then I got hit.. That's the game.. A wise man said if it ain't broke don't try and fix it!

So... Why can't we have the update with regards to th11.. That works... And the structure of the previous game was enabling players to make choices based upon their game play style.. It worked.. Can we rewind? We must remember any businesses makes decisions based upon their judgement.. There is no failure in saying we got it wrong.. In actual fact it would be seen as the community was listened to and there feedback was welcomed.

a personal plea.. I have played clash for 18 months and in that time have built a strong th10 and a 1 billion gold grab. I don't wanna see my fellow clashers leaving this great game because of an update.

all I ask is search engine "companies that have failed because they never listened to their customers" it's a staggering list!

Supercell.. Let us help you. It's in your power to turn back time.

That's very kind of you but Supercell doesn't respond, even to kind threads or posts like this. The most someone can hope for is for a mod to bring this to SC's attention. Then again, even if they do that we have no idea what SC thinks because they never communicate with the fanbase in any way except for relying on youtubers/streamers to disseminate information and build hype for them.

Agree to disagree.. I know it's unpleasant, but I think the only chance of being "heard" is by continuing to voice our displeasure (in a civilized manner) and speaking through our actions with the recent drastic changes to the game.

When the "noise" dies down, it'll be because this game that so many of us are clearly passionate about, has died. Supercell has a few weeks left, by my estimation..

thanks for for keeping the post positive.. Please, I encourage as many people to do the same. I still have faith that SC will listen.. Let's hope. After all, we pay their wages through buying gems, advertising generates more players, income (gems) pays for development etc.....

clash of of clans has been and is SC's highest income generator, that's us! Without that ... Well enough said!

Nobody wants this game to be banished and SC need to wake up and realise that WE make this game. They may own the IP but without the clash community this is nothing and the 130+ people they employ would not be employed and SoftBank (Japanese investment) who own 72% of SC would be asking where all the money has gone.

The level of incompetence at SC is staggering. And I agree with other posters that the outrage needs to continue if there's any hope for correction. The fact that it's bothering people is ultimately a good thing imo. May hasten change just yet.

OP, the forums are full of solutions to this update problems pre- and post-update. They keep complaining with the hope SC will listen. Unfortunately, some are not that patient. Many players quitting.
