After reading this thread my only question is who starts off a conversation with a help and support desk with profanities in their first post? Has Mr Manners entirely left the building?
It is intriguing that the gold offer is actually below the loot cap but without knowing the TH level of the attacker then it is hard to gauge if loot penalties are already in place.
As to the OP was this an attack immediately after you had emptied your collectors and logged off or a few hours after?
You cut off the lower part of the attack image so I assume attacker is TH10 or lower (by loot offered)
You can empty them all the times you want, there's a 5 mins cooldown where you cant be attacked so they're not empty
You have more lv10 gold mines than lv10 elixir collectors
---> you offer more elixir than gold

Come on guys talking about the collectors. The loot cap is 400k for a th10, he was offering 390 with full storages. No collectors can influence that. The amount of elixir offered was entirely correct, but the gold offered was wrong. Good to see in game support is reliable as ever
I really do pity you if your response when someone tries to help you is to label them a fanboy and to tell them to get more gems. I could tell you how I have never bought gems and so on, but the more worrying issue is that you seem to think you are funny by trying to tell people who answered your question to go buy more gems, because knowing about clash of clans must mean you buy gems, right? Oh wait, no it doesn't.
Around 5 mins after, you'd see by my collectors and mines if it was a few hours after. And unfortunately, yes, mr. manners has left the building😔😔😔 after 20+ conversations with in game support and generated answers like this, which always were kindly offered from support, there's no manners left, as I'm sure they either don't read it anyway, or it a computer answering me, just by tags #elix#raid#♥♥♥ or something like this lol
I like where they say

they'd rather wait for loot to dry up completely before tweaking resources, where in-flow could be "too much"
id rather they tweak now, and over tweak, bring some major loot to the game... Then tweak later if it's too much.
besides the older these games get, adding new content, end game content, generally the developers start speeding up old progress of the game, cheapen items, upgrade times, ect, so people can some day eventually get to the end game content, or at least close, unless they just plan to always take 2-4 years to add new TH lvls, we did wait almost 3 years for th11
when the game first launched, players were hitting TH8 fast, that was the cap, they added 9, then 6 months later 10, to give years of playing
but we all know, 1-7 takes a month, 2 months, th8 can take a year, th9, whoa, 2 years I think my husband has been working on that to max, and he isn't a casual, but isn't a gemmed, he just got to th10, 2 1/2 years in, and I know at this rate, he won't even see th11 for another 3 years maybe...
