This is not new but I think needs to be stated again. I read all the adapt threads and the loot complaint threads. They are both right in their own ways. I for one haven't really changed at all. I still gibarch, I am still in champs, and I am still keeping my builders going for the most part. My only small adjustment was I added 4 extra Giants and 4 extra wiz to my comp and reduced barbs and arch. Overall, my clash life is good. I am steadily progressing as always.
Now to the point. I do not think the game loot is sustainable. The way I see it there are a few things that create loot. The primary creators are collectors & loot bonuses both multi and war (there are some smaller others). The primary destroyers are upgrades & army cost (again there are some smaller others). Just to be clear, stealing storage loot is a transfer which neither creates nor destroys loot.
Post update creation & destruction seem to be out of balance. Total loot bonus earned across every player has dramatically reduced as snipes go away. There are simply less total wins creating loot without those free ones regardless of if they were intended or not. As a result, destruction > creation (or at least is relatively greater compared to pre-update). The loot will slowly drain - maybe not so slowly. So far things have been fine for me. The collector boost certainly hides any hole for now but it will end.
I guess my trust has to be with SC. My assumption is they understand and pay attention. My guess is they make a tweak.
