Everyone takes time off work for christmas

Sure, they dropped the big update and pre set a fix to the PBT to kick off once X amount of complaints rolled in. Sure, people go on vacation, don't deny that, but this isn't a small shop with 4 employees; they can't all take off and lock the doors. It is an ongoing program that millions of people use each day and it has to be managed.

If they want to take the time to come up with a response or make some tweaks, fine, just say so and stop bandying about the "vacation" line. Think they just want the dust to settle. It is hard for people to abandon their bases after the work they put into them. That's why people keep saying they will leave, rather than simply doing it. Will they shut up and color? If we tweak a thing or two but don't really change anything, will they stop complaining and settle down?

If I hadn't put years into this game, I would quit. I loved CoC. I love TH11. I love the idea of taking TH snipes out. Personal breaks are fine IMHO, too. Game is still broken.

It's not like we're playing street fighter and we can just pop in another game if we don't like this one. We have roots here. We have friends and family here. We don't want to leave. We want the game to be fun again.

So, what is broken if you like pretty much every change they made?

Let's say that everyone that dislikes the update takes your advice and quits the game. Guess what? After 24 hours, all these people's bases will be taken out of the search. So go ahead and keep encourage people to quit the game. I hope you enjoy staring at the clouds all day.

I don't (specifically) farm dead bases, so it wouldn't change anything for me. Besides, I don't think they changed anything to do with dead bases, it's just that all the former TH snipers are now trying to farm dead bases, so they're aren't as many available.

I haven't seen a dead base in days and honestly I don't care either way...I'm still enjoying the game since the update sure it's harder to progress I've still been able to keep farming my heroes no problem...in gold and silver no less...if you want to know how I've adapted...I do nothing different except maybe nexting more since there is more bases in queue with bad loot...gold as always been expendable look for elixir and de bases and hit them gold will come more easily anyways especially when warring...

As I understand it supercell have multiple offices over a number of countries. I know that here we have whole government departments that may shut down over a few days between Christmas and New Year. Some small shops close up Christmas Eve and return the first week in January. No business shuts down for three or four weeks over the Christmas period. Individuals going on holidays, I believe, but the whole team. Considering that maintenance breaks and gem boosts are happening still, someone is simply making excuses for their lack of communication.
If they want to say adapt or quit then fine but they might have said we got it wrong and this is how we think we should fix it.

You really think that's how the world works? It's a multi million dollar company not a semester computer science project.

No any school science project could communicate and meet objectives better.
Perhaps soft bank should just sack the devs and high school kids (they couldn't do worse) when income/users crash.
