Why I don't like the update Supercell

This message is for Supercell.

I decided to take a break a few days ago and come back fresh. I came back today and it lasted 5 minutes before I uninstalled, probably for good.

The problem that I never realized before was that I simply hated being bullied. I'm a new TH9 and there is absolutely nothing I can do to protect my resources. When my shield ends, I'm going to get 3 starred by a TH11 or TH10. My defense log was me getting 3 starred every single time.

There is no brilliant strategy or base layout that I can use to stop it. Trust me, I've tried many. It's a strategy game, so I am at least supposed to have a chance. I've never played a strategy game where I was basically expected to lose. There is always something you can do strategically. By making TH level criteria in the matchmaker, there is no league I can move to that has bases similar in strength to mine. I'm expected to get crushed playing the game the right way. That's crazy.

I can buy gems, but there is no way I can buy enough gems to max TH9. Even if I did, I would still get bullied by TH10 and TH11. I can drop to Silver, but that doesn't seem right either. I can bully hopeless TH8s to make up for it, but that makes their experience worse. I could buy guards, but I don't have whale money.

I figure that psychologically Supercell wants it this way. I'm sure more people are buying gems to buff defense (a lost cause at TH9). For those of us spending $5 or $10 a month, it's basically just lose for 3 months and struggle to keep loot. The slowed advancement means it will take even longer to build the defense that could help.

Anyway, that's it for me. I would leave my storages out, but it doesn't matter anyway. There are other games I can play where skill matters more than how long you've played. For all the talk about skillful attacking, it's not more skillful at all. It just became a game where those who played longest (and advanced in the old system) get to bully everyone else because they have stronger troops. I'm not sure that is better, but it's not my game.

on a more serious note if you cant handle having to defend then this game is not for you, cheap shield was a w♥♥♥♥y technique that turned this game into hayday, or into bully without being bullied.

it is not perfect yet but the update is fine and brought back the game to what it should be, attack and defend each other, if it clear out a couple hundreds thousand of cheap player at the same time then so be it.

and if you expected to be able to build a one-fit all def then im sorry to say the game has never worked that way, you can design base to only stop specific raids while oppening to others, protect a certain king of ressource over an other one and so on. If you want to keep on your loot search the net for new farming design that protect the ressource your trying to farm. Youll lose on cups and other res but youll save the one you want.

Feel the same as OP at TH10, and I agree with your assessment. If people were/are progressing too quickly, they need to slowly ease into reduction in loot availability. The reaction on this forum, Facebook, and in game are a symptom of pulling that rug out too quickly.

Not that I think there was too much loot previously, but even if that's their premise, they went about a solution in the wrong way.

Could you please post how much loot you had available to the th11 who attacked you? In order to turn a profit on a th9 you've got to be worth at least 140k (before league bonus) due to the penalty, and I have to 100% your base. If your storages are filled and you're worth a good deal of loot, it's a no brainer why you're getting attacked.

Luckily for you, since the last maintenance break, I have not seen a single th9. A lot more th11's than th10's.

My base is a maxed TH9 and by maxed I mean TOTALLY maxed and it doesn't matter what trophy level I drop down to, all I find are similarly maxed bases. I would argue the VAST majority of players were casual players who wanted a Hay Day clash of clan experience. They buy an occasional bag of gems and were happy campers. Now, the game is forcing you to be a 24/7 clasher just to not have a net loss of loot. Sorry, but I have a real job and this game is too much work. 3 years into this game and I'm done.

My base is a maxed TH9 and by maxed I mean TOTALLY maxed and it doesn't matter what trophy level I drop down to, all I find are similarly maxed bases. I would argue the VAST majority of players were casual players who wanted a Hay Day clash of clan experience. They buy an occasional bag of gems and were happy campers. Lol-_- the best thing about this update is that it's causing all the noobs to quit, if you can't play this game the way it's supposed to be played, which is..... attacking eachother, looting eachother, and defending.... then it's not the game for u. They didn't make too many changes.. if anything the loot is even better with the league bonuses. Not super cell fault that you only like to get money from your resources which is the slowest way in the game ever to farm for upgrades. .. attack 3 times a day and u get more than what u farm in 2 days. .. but anyways this leaves the better players in the game

OP, in the new coc your base layout cannot be too strong. You need to change it, so that ppl can easy to get the TH, but hard to get other resources.

If you make everything hard to get, you will get an attack from TH10/TH11. Because all TH8s/TH9s will skip you base.

Th10s/TH11s just like to attack any TH9 for 3 stars and the full bonus.

So just change your base to seem to easy to attack for TH8, then you will be able to save your loots.

Dont' use any base posted on web site, ppl knows how to attack those base. Pick one from a TH9 base that you found in the match making that you think you can attack for 2-3 stars at your level. So that ppl same to you will attack as well.

My base has zero defense win now. but 50% ppl can't get my DE if they don't bring jump..
