I can't spend as much time on clash anymore as loot in silver 3 seems to be drying up as well as the holidays ending soon, would it be better to stay in silver 3 and get milked or go to crystal 3 suffering large attacks but being able to use gibarch to get the larger loot bonus?

I'd go up, you'll at least get a shield, that should help you better sleep at night

silver 3 mostly has th4s and 5s so my advise is go silver 1 as it has th6s trying to max their base and upgrade leading to more loot...
