They would have to not give any loot or xp, maybe just a refund bonus for the troops you used.

but seriously, you don't need to, you can already arrange war matches, as long as you get your weighting equal and start search at the same time.

The weighting issue would still apply even if you could choose your opponent, so i think ppl who ask for this either already have worked out some way to exploring this hypothetical feature or haven't at all thought about how war matches currently work.

I dont really ally see this one implemented, ever.
