Ok before the update I was always boosted gold, elixer, and de, I'm a high lvl th10, every 10 days I was farming the next 10 I'd trophy push, not th snipping, and doing just that I that I had 10 to 12 million for upgrades every 10 days with loot bonuses and attacks and boosting,
So then we get this update so I drop the boosting and do attacks, I have a full Max army, before I was using gowipe, after the update high loot bases are 100k that I could find even with loot bonus that didn't cover my army,
So I switch to goblins and earthquake only, if I was lucky if get 75 to 100k,
if I manage to get in 4 attacks I'm doing ok but wait, everytime I'm attacked I'd lose 6/700 k back to square one,
To boost everything it's 230 gems a day,
10 days of shield is 500 gems plus the 230 a day to boost collectors 2800 gems,
After my shield is almost up I can wait for one attack buy 3 more days of shield 250 gems plus another 690 for boosting,
My math may be a bit off here but boosting produces 1,176,000 a day in loot multiply that by 13 days that's a total of 15,288,000 in gold and elixer,
I didn't do the math on the de so upgrade during this time have fun with wars if you do that you can really build a lot of loot bonus lol,
Empty your storages as much as possible attack for another 21 days for all the shields to come around have fun call it practice,
In a months time if your decent and lucky with your attacks loot bonuses and cheap armies you could easily make 20,000,000 in loot each even with loses thrown in, of course that cost money,
2300+500=2800 then 690+250 for a total of 3,740 gems, at an expense of $35.00 a month,
Of course not everyone has or is willing to spend that on a game, and of course you can tweak that some and still play casually and at least get your base upgraded if that's what it takes, just an idea,
This is if you don't want or have time to play all the time yet want to build loot, of course it takes money something most don't have enough of anyhow,
I don't like this update any more than the next guy because being told when to play or pay isn't any fun at all, of course not everyone is having issues with this update, my son is a th8 rarely gets attacked is using gowipe and moving up at a reasonable pace, without gens except what he can farm,
Of course this isn't for everyone and mostly I only wrote this is just one scenario and it can be tweaked many ways,
if I don't play this way I can't go anywhere as I'm raided for over a million a day and with a few raids thrown in I might be lucky to keep 100k and of we're back to the game being boring, Supercell it doesn't appear you thought this out to well and you've basically chased what I call your bread butter customers away,
not sure what you was thinking with that, like so many have said, this game was more than a game of strategy it was a game of friends and family, chit chat and people from all over working together strategies and laughter and you've taken that away for many, I can't imagine that was your intent but silence speaks volume in many ways good or bad,,
I understand the people's passion for this game as silly as it sounds it's become a part of people's lives, I for one implore you to respond before you just become a memory and just part of the long list of games that dot the app store landscape....
