The challenge if Hay Day is to manage your resources so that your farm remains productive at all times. If your barn and silo are full and all production slots are full, I suggest you try selling stuff to keep your barn below the full level while you hunt for the expansion materials you need ... or you can just keep buying and using diamonds to expand so that those of us who don't buy diamonds can continue to play the game free of charge. 👍🏻😀

Somewhere on the forum there is a useful guide on stacking. Since I have always been loathe to sell my products in the roadside shop, I learned early on that stacking is a useful way to overcome the full barn problem. I would find it for you but don't feel up to the challenge at present as I find the search function on this forum next to useless. Perhaps some good soul will read this and help you.

Good luck and have fun. This game has given me many hours of fun and, if it is your cup of tea, it may do the same for you

I did a search and was actually rewarded! Here is the stacking guide http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...light=Stacking

    Welcome, Toothmaniac!

I hope you really enjoy HayDay!

Glade is exactly right. You'll get barn and silo expansion items as you collect crops and tend your animals.
Pressure on your bursting barn and silo is relieved when you make products, and/or sell them.

The red treasure chests can sometimes be opened without spending diamonds, and inside you'll find useful items: expansion items for barn or silo, or explosives to use in the mine. Sometimes, there will even be diamonds in the treasure chests, or vouchers!

There is great advice in the "New to Hay Day?" section, and wonderful masters of the game who hang out there to help you get off to a great start.

We're very happy you're here, Welcome!
    Wishing you very happy farming!

This is very definitely a family-friendly game. What a joy that you've all joined, and I hope you all have a wonderful time playing, this year and hopefully for a long time to come. Happy New Year!
