    Go to TH10 or No?(Need TH10's thoughts!)

Im pretty close to fully max TH9....one more lvl on queen ...couple more levels on king....and like 20 more walls to lvl 10....

Iv decided to become a TH9.5 for war reasons

Im a bit scared because I know I will get battered on defense...

It will take me time to upgrade my troops to have an actual TH10 advantage in farming, warring, .....

I need to know loot situation for TH10s
    What I need to know
    • What trophy range is loot?
    • Dead Bases?
    • What strategies to attack?
    • Any other valuable info is helpful

    Thanks!!

DO NOT GO 9.5. Drop infernos right away as not having them is suicide frankly and tbh you will always match a 10 regardless as soon as you upgrade spell factory and a 10 vs a 9 is huge difference and could mean the difference between the lowest nine tripling you and forcing them to dip. You'll struggle immensely if you do it. That's one advise from serious warring perspective.

Stay out of war till 35/35 if you wish to triple bases or stay in if you can gem time. Or atleast get 35 aq if your goal is two stars.

Range Crystal 2/3 depends but don't drop as it's relatively dry for high th's atm. Again a possibility is there that it can change. Comp Bam in the beginning heavy on minions 25+ till you get all your camps done then switch to gibarch with rage / heal.

Honestly, if I could go back I'd sit at 9 and war and have a good time.

Cause th10 requires massive amounts of time to attack and try to gain ground. Like hours per day or you'll make it nowhere now. High th10 and 11 look for new th10 like me to prey on.

Learn to barch in champs 3.

Don't worry about raiding storages. The league bonus and fast armies make it easy to get loot.

If you go for 9.5. Lightning to lv6 and drags to max. Easy 2 stars in war for a start. Then slowly upgrade other troops. Don't get infernos right off the bat if you're concerned about war. For the first week while they're building, you'll still be getting wrecked on defence, and war-wise, your weight is high enough to pull in opponents with lvl 2-3 infernos (You'll never get a th9, and rarely a fresh th10). Even when your infernos are done building, you'll still frequently lose 2 of each storage and up in defences until your walls and infernos are max. So really, they don't help much. A good layout goes a much longer way in defending a base than infernos ever will.

Drop the infernos right away. Otherwise max 10s and 11s will roll you and take everything.

I will roll you with max infernos too. Infernos add a lot of war weight with little war upside. You are going to get crushed by other people no matter what. Talk to your clan mates and think about the pros and cons of each, then do what you want. It's your game, play it however you like. If you were in our clan we might want you to wait on infernos until your camps, labs and troops were up, and you were consistently getting 2 stars on TH 10 opponents in war. Same with adding the xbow. If you war very little and don't care how it affects you clan and you think adding the inferno towers will keep you safe, by all means put them up, but be prepared to be dissapointed. I have been stopping attacks at 70% on Max TH10 bases in pvp to keep my heros up so I can get 100% VB and raid again as soon as troops and spells up.
i have a pretty solid TH11 base and was 3 starred yesterday. Good attacks are going to hurt you and infernos will not change that.

I'm also wondering about the loot at TH10. I'm a max TH9, as there's nothing left for me to upgrade now (except walls, but I don't plan on grinding them, all legos), I'm just currently enjoying wars and a few gowipe attacks here and there. I might go TH10 eventually but I fear that my elixir gain will not allow me to do wars constantly.

I was loving the update as a max th9. Th10 is tougher, no doubt. You see very few th9s in raids. I think the update made it so you see much more of your own th level. Lets face it, youre a noob th10 now, it SHOULD be tougher!! YOU are the easier target to all the vet th10s looking to loot now. But there is loot out there to be had, you just gotta work a bit harder for it.

    Go for it!

Bad timing, man.. Specially if you are not going to gem your way up

Remember that the economy right now is pretty unstable due to the update, and upgrading your TH, specially to TH10, will mean you'll face great adversities.

If you're a patient guy, I would recommend you to wait up a month or so, wait until this post-update 'vibe' goes away. The reason behind this is because the current system is a mess. Economy is broken; You'll struggle to maintain a loot when your village is getting raided more than you can attack. Th11s will just pass right through your new base like a hot knife through butter. I recommend you to wait until SC decides to balance the game or at least the community come up with a good farming system.

If you want to upgrade now, well, I highly recommend you to buy gems to boost your armies or buy shields when needed, because the current system will just give you a bad ride if your defenses do not match those who have maxed armies on the same TH level.

By the way, I'm a TH10 and a TH9, I gemmed a little in one and went legit in the other, and I can tell you this new system just gives you a bad time.
