What is better for wars a maxed TH8 or new TH9. My second account is almost all the way maxed. All I have left is about half the walls. Troops, spells and defence are all maxed. Should I go ahead and upgrade to TH9 or just stay and be a strong TH8. Thanks for the help.

Upgrade TH when your TH8 is maxed.
Maxed all the loots you can to get giant lvl6, xbows, queen and lab.
It will be challenging at the beginning, but TH9 is the most fun level of TH in COC.
I bet you don't want to alway get attack by TH9 with queen and no way to protect your base even that you are max TH8.

If you have max king and ALL troops (including valks minions golems )just wait a bit and upgrade it.you should.be able to get most of your walls.
