You can't argue against hard facts. Before the update I could get 1.1 million gold and elixir per hour without sniping and unboosted. After the update it's closer to 250k per hour. You can hand a person a lemon and say it's sweet but some are going to see it's lie faster than others.

But you keep quoting books you don't understand. If that works for you.

There's a difference between data and facts. Your statement could hardly be considered a "fact". And as for me, I never said loot is better.

And you need to work on your grasp of logic. What do you mean, I keep quoting books? Care to back that up with a "fact"? Or maybe even some data. I never quoted a book here. I merely gave a title. And I only did it once.

There are definately some players who benefitted from the update. There does seem to be a pattern, though.

When actual numbers start being used, what th level and specifically where in that th level you are (new, mid, max) seems to weigh in heavily. The numbers in this thread seem to continue to support that trend.

The part that drives me crazy is when people can't see past their personal experience. The "it's this way for me so it must be like that for everyone" mentality is really prevalent here. People on both sides of the update are guilty of it, but it does stand out more for pro-update posts due to the nature of the argument.

Not all pro-update posts are like this, of course, but there are a lot.

If they keep making millions a day like they used too, the update is good for their business model.
Customers are people who bought gems. People who play the game but spend no money are not really customers.

The whales seem to be liking the update. At the end of the day, that is who SuperCell builds this game for, the people who spend money on it.

    Is it manageable? Yes

Is the loot per hour same? No it's half and that's across the day I play on average.

If you are an example of the standard for maturity, we are in very bad shape indeed.

I would argue that you are not correct. If you want to build a game for whales, go ahead. No one will play it. I and many others take offense that they sucked people in time and money wise, and then changed it to suit their vision. I call ♥♥. Why not split the game? Let people choose to continue in the old rules or roll their accounts to the new system. If the new is so much better, everyone will be enrolling anyway. One word - unethical.

Another example is. Sometimes we get emails scams. It's common for them to have many typos. They do this on purpose. They feel if a person isn't smart/observant enough to see a typo they will be an easy mark. So anyone who responds is usually not very bright and easy to con money out of.

A study was conducted on luck. They picked random people to see if luck existed. A part of that test was giving all the subjects a newspaper and on 1 of the pages was a coupon to receive $100. Those that claimed to be lucky saw the add and those that felt unlucky didn't see the add. They concluded lucky people were just more observant.

It doesn't surprise me when people don't see or understand how this update made it harder to get loot. Sure you may see big numbers but your loot per hour has dramatically decreased. I get about 75% less loot per hour since the update.

I have a question for those who think the loot is better: How much loot per hour did you gain before the update? If you can't answer that simple question, how can you say it's better?
Im not saying loot is better than pre update.. but I will say that I'm doing a lot better than the people investing a lot of time complaining about the lack of loot on here. I'm still profiting and I'm still trekking along even though it may or may not be faster than before.
If there's so much Jesus in your heart, how come you're not able to share some of that Jesus with the world?

If you're in a crowd and they say "all left handed people step forward", it's directed specifically to them. Since you stepped forward to address the topic. It's very simple deductive reasoning that a person who responded here either agrees with me or is someone who thinks loot is better. Perhaps you're just lost? If you don't have anything meaningful to bring to a subject why even comment? From my perspective you seem like a person who doesn't have a clue what's going on but convinced themselves they do. Have you seen the picture of the guy in a riot with a cactus? The caption says "No time to explain grab a cactus". I can picture you being that person.

At the end of the day the game was easier pre-update. The people defending the update are usually people with maxed armies and high level heroes. These people got to those levels when it was easier. They now want other people to have a harder time getting to the point they currently are.
