Very objective opinion.
My issue is not with the amount of loot I find, as I was already farming with a loonien strategy. What I have come to realize and is the hardest to accept, is when I do attacks at my pace being a casual player when I go offline, my maxed town hall 9 base cannot hold up, specifically I lose most of my loot. It's not war where only 2 stars is a victory, when I give up 50% in an attack that usually equates to a heartbreaking amount of lost resources. I finished my last two walls yesterday and felt so much relief, one more lvl for my queen and I will become an only war player and donation king to my peeps.
So my summary is I think at least th9 the defense is weak, a maxed 9 should be able to defend at least half the time. However for those looking for a hand out, I am contador - ATM Raiders hanging around 1300 trophies all my gold storages are out come get it...

I'm doing the same thing as you, and getting the same results. I feel like I'm doing better than I was before the update lol

This really is the only way to play now your loot bonus and collectors pay for your defence loss. Managing your costs with army/spells for profit is how to progress. Problem is not everyone wants to play this way. It's a one size fits all. My advice for those canals who don't play much during the week don't log in for 3 days. You will be deep in the que and won't get attacked. Collect your resources and log after those 3 days. IMHO they really need to tweak this current system to make it more engaging for players who want to play more often aka league perks.
