Why am I being steamrolled for peanuts?

Pre-update i never had such enormous attacks and if i did it was because i had full storages. Now post update im being hit by golems, pekkas and everyones favourite mass hogs and not to forget mass drags. I havent had a gibarch attack in the last 10 days. My gold count is 100k. My elixir is 900k. My DE is 10k. Pre update with my available loot, id be ignored. Now everytime my shield drops i get hit with 300k elixir armies or 2k DE armies. I am a maxed Th8 with skull walls hovering at 2000 trophies. If this is going to be the new regular i must admit it is aeriously putting me off. Ive held back TH upgrade because if people are smacking me for peanuts how on earth will i progress as a fresh TH9?

Edit:If you lost a considerable amount of trophies that attacker could be a trophy pusher.Just a suggestion

Seeing the same thing with my th8.....guess 8 is such an easy target most of the time. Made a few tweaks to my base there and now at least surviving the big hits with generally one stars.

Sadly, that's how it is. Most will say push higher. Others will say adapt. Some will say play more to make up losses. Few might say find a new game if you can't cope.

But that's all there is to it. You are either more active to make decent progress. Or you don't care about progression anymore and just war. Or find a better game where they won't change gameplay for many people after 3 years of game launch.

Don't expect any nice posts or advice though. Most will just make fun or say adapt or quit

Thats what happens if you move up in leagues. Do not listen to all the people trying to trick you into masters or champions as an easy target.

most likely they are pushing up and you are a high cup offer.
They don't want your loot they want your cups.
People are pushing up because that is where the real loot is.

My assumption: going below 700 trophies should help you....since its very hard for th 10 and 11 to go below that..

If you're a TH8+ and you log off below 700 trophies you will be back up in the 1200's-1300's in an hour.If people aren't nice to destroy one building and give you a free 30min VG

he's at 2000...I can testify to people running gowipes at gold1 and c3....even worse when it's a th9 doing it. I was 2900ish when the update hit I should have just stayed there since the same armies are hitting me wherever I go anyway.
