Yes, I believe their revenue has decreased from last year, since last year they made a revenue of nearly 1.5 billion dollars.

So even if we consider the highly unlikely chance that both Boom Beach and Hay Day make the same amount of money as CoC does, they will have about 1 billion dollars in revenue in the upcoming year, about 33% less than last year.

Based on what? The $1M figure isn't for CoC. It's for CoC on iphone only. When you use the same source that OP is referring to and go to the actual revenue prediction, it's still $5M per day for CoC on all devices. You can't compare total yearly revenue to revenue from iphone only and conclude that revenue is dropping.

The revenue decreased significantly if you account for how many gemers that gemmed to max TH11 which is an one time event.

Please then, show us the actual revenue so we may all see this significant decrease. Not just some website that guesses at revenue based on app store position with no accounting for one-time events.

I don't think the folks posting numbers in the thread have a CPA. So you should forgive them for getting it wrong.

What can't be forgiven is how badly the update haters now want SuperCell to fail. I used to have sympathy but now I think the community of CoC would be better off without them. Smaller perhaps, but higher quality.

How do you propose one account for people who gemmed to max 11?

Even funnier is on Average this forum has around 3.5k users on. Now a percentage of those users dont like the patch and think they are the majority of clash.

Yet could not be considered the majority of fresh installs let alone majority of overall players.
One could make the argument that down the road is when you could really see the affects of this update. Sure, there are thousands of new installs, new players to Clash. How many of these are going to stick with the game, once it reaches the point where casual play results in a slow progression that isn't appealing? The existing Clash community- those that have years and high TH levels invested in the game are certainly less likely to walk away from the game, than a player that puts 2 months into it and realizes its not worth the hassle.

Game mechanics are broken. Bots, fluffy are rampant. TH balances off. Farming a thing of the past. There were many different ways to enjoy playing Clash that brought many different, diverse players into its fold. That's gone. And every time SC does something to try and address bots or fluffy- they break something else in the game even more. These are issues that may not be as noticeable now- but will have lasting affects for the future of the game. The cracks are in the foundation.

Well, I do not know any hard number, but in North America, for the first time in years, CoC is down from #1 to #2 in Top Grossing. I am not even talking about Free Apps, its down to #56
