1,168,000 daily for the month of December....far from normal, in a month where people spend more than ever and they Gabe us an update that should have had people buying gems by the bucket....

First off how did you get those numbers... I dont see any proof of them being real. I would understand them making decent money for all of the people gemming town hall 11 and the warden.
While you are a thinkgaming you can take a look at 33k new installs of CoC (so for the 100 odd that quite on the forum you have been replace 100 fold). This game is far from doom.
Even funnier is on Average this forum has around 3.5k users on. Now a percentage of those users dont like the patch and think they are the majority of clash.
Yet could not be considered the majority of fresh installs let alone majority of overall players.

just 1mil for a month? That's low. You might get wrong number.
People stated they got 750k per day.
I think they got $1.1 mil daily is more reasonable for them.

I ment daily for the month of december. It is far from 2 or 5. Sorry for the mixup. Their previous months have been reported at 2-5 mill daily for a long time

You posted December IMAP. December is the update month. CoC has been at 2-5 that's not a lot to you?

Go look at the parameters on the graph you're looking at. It's iphone only (not iPad, not android). These things are pretty important.
ETA: But if you read their methodology, it's based on app store rankings...not on actual reported revenue. So they aren't actually accounting for any kind of spikes in revenues, they're just saying "well I know #17 is a public traded company, and they reported $X several months ago, so based on that the #16 company is probably doing $Y, and other companies are doing $Z.
This isn't actual revenue, it's some company that came up with a formula for estimation based on app store rankings...probably ok as a high level view, probably not very good with anomalies like releases.
