ye i agree with you though a few points:
They didn't get rid of the bots, there's a few botters in my clan and they now farm dead bases in bronze for less than they used to snipe in masters. They still max their gold and pink in under a day and spend more gems than anyone else on hero time since they trigger an upgrade every few days. If they wanted to get rid of bots they should have banned anyone who nexted before the clouds cleared, anyone who raided 24/7 or anyone who exceeded a certain number of attacks in a day. There was a guy in the forum a month ago who did 70,000 attacks in a month and he got lauded as some sort of hero, he attacked once every 37 seconds (biggest botter ever) for a month lol and advertised it here with no repercussions. In summary if SC wanted rid of botters they failed.
wars being messed up as an unfortunate side effect you say... i have to disagree there to me that's a development/testing failure. The game is small with not many knock on impacts. When you introduce a new troop you see how it plays at that level, the knock on effects are simply how it affects raiding one townhall level down and how it affects peoples CCs . introducing DE spell donations and extra time at th10 and above sounds fine to me. They should have at least considered how one of the key tactical defensive pieces, the clan castle, is rendered useless by double poison (unless you take a lava/pekka/golem all of which are useless against air attacks... the very attacks SC nerfed a few months ago have now been boosted, it's so uncoordinated)
similarly no-one ever complained about 3min being too short at th8. the expansion of the map has minimal impact on gameplay at th8 as you still have the same number of buildings and they don't defend so well when massively spread out so if someone does use larger bases they get crushed easier and the time constraint of 3min still isnt a problem. My point is simply that thought de spell donation and extra time SC have made th8 and 9 easier in war when no-one asked for this and it appears they did this because they didnt even think through how the additional time and spells would impact the various townhall levels.
the introduction of double zap quake - it's pretty useless at th10, it's an option at th9 but not something anyone needs when they can have 4EQ plus 3 normal spells or 2 pois plus 4 normal spells. At th8 it suddenly gives drag users a free rage, which they did not need. if they wanted th10s to have an extra space for haste they could simply have given them an extra DE spell slot or allowed DE spell donation just for them and above. It seems coding this was beyond a multi billion dollar company.
"If they wanted to simply earn money via dark elixir they could have made the grand wardon an de upgrade" well DE spell donation affects everyone not just th11s, it's a DE drain on the economy and coincidentally the slowest upgrades in the game, the heroes, run off of DE. Now the main reason i think they put this feature in to earn money is because there are no reasons to put it in to enhance gameplay, it simply makes the wars easier when no-one wanted that, and renders defensive CCs for farming more redundant since very few players hold lava hounds in their defensive CC out of war.
Why the GW is elix based is a mystery for everyone lol
i agree simulating clash would not be easy, however with $5m per day theyhave more options than most companies and they could atleast estimate the impact of changing loot bonus to a sliding scale based on damage done and realise they've reduced loot bonus.
anyway just my thoughts, i think the SC dev team have underperformed with this update. TH11 isnt great, trophy pushing is worse, war is easier, farming is harder, they could have made so many useful tweaks and put in great new features and it's been a huge let down for a lot of people. the way they gave out so little info at clashcon was a dissapointment, the huge gap til after that til the update, the trickle of sneak peeks, the complete absence of comment from SC, the whole process has been woeful. I'd give them constructive feedback but either they do not care, or they do care but they're not competent enough to implement things properly
Critizism always came with both negative and positive. You surely can't expect everyone to sugar mouthing SC. Sometime the best feedback is the most negative critizism
Goodluck sticking your nose in their behind. Maybe someday you will get a spot in their company
they dont wanr our help. they are on vocation
How can us and ♥♥♥ work together, if they don't ever show there faces in the forum to say something like.....
that at a good point
im not sure at that as it will fail due to this and that etc....
this is forum is more like throwing a ball in a field....it will never ever return once you thrown the ball
Exactly. I'm mixed about this update, just too many features at once.Changed the game too much, made it totally different. New clash is still good, just too different from old clash, not many people like it as much. I'm one of those people(I probably have contradicted myself so many times these last few weeks,I liked it, then hated it, then mixed, then I hate it again
)
I'm not on here much anymore, contact me on Steam or Discord (KMC Blink#6338)funny quote
No one doubts ur intent!!! All of us play this game and love it a lot... My point is that if v only criticize and hate then it will only produce more hate and a defensive attitude from them... I feel that if v offer constructive criticism and feedback in a supportive environment it will help a lot more...![]()
1. Didn't really work
2. And lose tons of loot. Instead of rewarding good defense, it is in fact punishing it, because you don't get a shield.
3. ?
4. Okay... nothing too good
5. Probably the "only" thing deserving appraisal
6. Okay...
7. Liked this one; Freeze spell at th9 is a great addition.
"That's simply.....
.....the way Clash of Clans is meant to be played"
