Oh we adapted all right. I'm sure many, many players have. If you call perfect starring TH9 and TH9/8 wars adapting. Feels like I'm at TH7 all over again.

My clan is only level 4 and we don't war that much, usually once a week or so if enough people could commit. Now nobody wants to because the magic is gone. We are all TH8 and TH9 - where is the fun and excitement if you expect every single one of your bases to get 3 starred every war?

OP is a bit overboard IMO. It won't have damaged the whole industry, and there is certainly not a breakdown of trust.

In truth, not many people had one in the first place. That's not a criticism.

Yea, it beat that life span but it changed completely in that time.

I am talking more than this update. Building training troops lost them, heros could be lured to corners tons of complexity changes.


The game is gonna have to get a whole lot worse for it to be killed by an update. Look at #2 that is the exact same game only it beats you over the head with micro transactions yet it still is going.

This is a good game, worse after the update but it never was ground breaking.

Youre right, an update wont kill this game. There will always be people who fit whatever changes they make, and the player base is just too large. Also without the earlier changes and updates along the way, the game would never have survived so long. Never before has an update alienated huge sections of the community though.
Also i think getting the candy game crowd, the war game crowd, and even the people who dont typically play video games to all enjoy this game was pretty groundbreaking. My clan is like a family, many of us have been together for years. Ive never had anything like that in another game.

I played the game bcos it was fun and i could fit the game around my lifestyle.
i don't want to play a game where I have to change my lifestyle to fit the game.

I said the same thing when i started playing in 2012...

Same, they said two years max for clash, think it could be superseded now maybe. Once the pick up and play addictive gameplay has been squeezed to death, it could bring all these type of game down. Maybe replaced by a not so pay to win version, where you pay for the game but don't have to be held back by gems and stuff. I reckon that could work. be a totally different top 200 also.
