Why i will continue playing??

Hey guys,

I believe the post are getting very -ve and anyone whose is not in that direction is getting bullied instantly.

I got so frustrated initially. I even deleted the game. I even downloaded a copy game of coc and started playing. I believed i moved on. But clan leader and close friend convinced to play again. I was away for almost a week.

I'm not a fan of the update, and i do miss many aspects of the old version, mainly that 2-4 hours farming session on a free day but...

Coc is still the best game of its category out there. The social interaction is still great. My farming habit is now an attack every 2-3 hours with a semi-war troops. Trying multiple combinations and i believe that today i'm a better attacker.

A weaker farmer but a better attacker. As a result, i'm still a chief. I'm surviving and won't go down easily.

Its sad what peer pressure can do, guess you are the perfect clash player, one who cant quit lol

Man the update is good and bad. But it was necessary as a 3-star attack and a 1-star attack gained you the same loot bonus before the update. And 3 out of 5 players started farming so it was very difficult for attackers to get loot, so, there's a reason behind it.

I'm sure they will do some tweaks. They always do. I agree with you that the update is good & bad in some aspects.

What TH are you? I am about 75% completed TH8, at first I hated the update, I was in too high a league, personal break was too restrictive for my play style (barch, boosted barracks), constantly in personal break, couldn't get loot to progress.

The update to make personal break 4 hours plus the reduction in reset from 30 to 15 minutes, also I dropped down to a suitable league, this meant I can continue to barch in 3 hour sessions, so much so that all my five builders are constantly busy, which is usually one on elixir, it was two on gold, one doing walls, one doing BK but I completed skulls and the BK to LV10 quickly and easily, so now it's one on elixir, four on gold and dark troops constantly upgrading to use the DE.

I usually log out having maxed gold and elixir storages, gold thrown into upgrades so gold storage is almost empty, elixir storage pretty much constantly maxed at 6 million and the one elixir upgrade perpetually on the go. DE enough to be constantly doing a dark upgrade but enough in storage (currently 20k).

Upshot is I always have enough elixir and dark elixir to guarantee I'll be properly attacked and get shielded while I sleep, work, etc and can easily make more back barching in 3 hour boost sessions than I lost.

December upgrade was terrible at first but after the tweaks and some adaptation on my part, I am doing alright and enjoying the game again and trust me I really hated that initial update

I also "quit" via a 1 week shield I bought with gems I already had.however when I came back I decided to really put some effort in learning how to raid again.it's not my definition of farming for sure,but I am progressing. Its slow ,and I don't enjoy it as much.I understand why people have quit,and why people complain.I guess u can say I adapted but I don't really understand why I was forced to by a game I've enjoyed for 2 yrs.it definatly was not broke before , just probably needed a few weeks.I get the whole town hall thing.but why all the rest.anyway,im finding gold and DE,but elixer( unless u specifically make a few raids for only that) is a diff matter.and I hate when people just say adapt! Some cant,some choose not to.and all have the right to complain if they choose

Happy to hear that. I upgraded to TH10 2 weeks before the update. So far, it's ok. My 5 builders are busy. 1 inferno lvl3 & 1lvl2. Golem max, giants lvl7 and freeze going lvl3 now in lab.

I totally agree with you, but everyday is seems is bit better, a bit easier. Elixir is very challenging as you said. I switch to majority Dark troops in some attacks to save elixir. I hope they do some tweaks. This update caused rage because they did so many things at the same time.
