    The love of this game

Everyone loves clash. The unintentional game mechanic developed by SC which leads to th sniping morphed various ways of playing COC for many millions of gamers with different style, from casual, hardcore, trophy pushers or those wishing to make it to the top of the leaderboard. It's like a multilayered cake with different types of players with different abilities coexisting within each layer. Everyone had fun, and was able to progress at a pace that they feel comfortable. And this existed for three years.

With the flexibility that clash allowed us to play, (admit it), we all develop a love for this game.
    For example:
When I am in a queue, and stranger in front of me whips out his device and loads clash, I cannot but so much wanted to talk clash with the stranger and take a peak of his village, or when I am sitting in a restaurant, and hears the clash loading sound, my eyes would zip across the room, looking who is that fellow clasher. My wife would then roll her eyes...haha. Those are just some examples of how I love playing this game. I am not sure about you all out there, whether you had similar experiences or not, but if you do, please share.

This update, unfortunately, had impacted a large percentage of players by forcing players with different abilities and play style into limited playing style, thus halting progression and the fun in the game turns into chore. This disappointed many, seeing their time spent in the game wasted overnight. And what happens is that the love of playing the game turns into disgust/hate/call it whatever you want. Evidently, we can see the outpouring of this on the forum and Facebook.

It kinda funny though, how SC with the push of a button, is able to crush the love that players had for the game. Been here for three years, and I have never seen forum members so divided and toxic to each group: the pro and anti update group. Those who still loves clash would defend SC decision in the update, and we should respect their view. At the same time, those who hated the update, pour their disappointment onto the forum, only to have their view countered by "adapt or quit". Remember, those who hated the update, also love clash, else they would not have bothered to share their view.

It's time for restraint and reconciliation between the different groups. Please do support and respect each other's view and opinion in the update, after all, we all have one thing in common, we love or loved the game 😊❤️

    Thanks you for reading

This post makes way too much sense. I'm afraid it will soon be buried.
