Which dark troop to upgrade?

As a TH8 starting to think about TH9 in the not too distant future, which dark troop should I upgrade next with TH9 in mind?

• Dark Barracks are LV4
• Minions currently LV 3
• Hogs currently upgrading to LV4
• Valk and Golem both LV1

I currently tend to mostly raid in order to upgrade, never done war although once I have a decent TH9 it is something I definitely want to play with and see if I enjoy that side of the game.

I'd do golems, unless your king isnt at 10 yet. I'd prioritize him, especially if you have any lixir upgrades you could keep your lab busy in the meantime.

As far as waiting until th9 for war... Jump in at th8 with level 4 hogs! Th8 warring is a lot easier to get the hang of and you'll learn a lot for when you're th9.

King is 10, I still have a pekka upgrade to do but I am gonna time that to finish along with the TH upgrade.

Really it was whats gonna be the most useful dark troop, I might have a go at war then once the hogs are done, I'll start looking for a decent clan at that point.

Golems nearly every type of attack uses them👍🏻

Definitely do golems lvl2. They are your main tank troops especially during war.
