This idea stems from the fact that in a clan when you are recruiting members in global chat, you constantly need to flick back to clan chat to see if the player has in fact joined, and then welcome them. To solve this issue, when the chat panel is open, and you are not in the clan chat tab (and therefore in global chat), if a message comes through in clan chat, like a player joining your clan, there is a little notification symbol next to the clan tab button, so you can click the clan tab and then view the message.
This would be similar to the notification that exists when a player closes the chat panel completely, and if any messages come through in the last used chat (clan or global) then a symbol appears with the number of messages next to the button which opens the chat panel.
What I am suggesting is similar, but happens when the chat panel is actually open, and it only happens for clan chat, and the notification is next to the button you press to switch to clan chat.
A simple but useful idea, easy to implement, and I hope to see it soon. There could also be the option of turning this feature on or off in the settings menu if some people found it annoying.
Hope it gets implemented!
