Attackers using farming armies but uses all their spells?

I am just wondering why would some attackers use a farming army (GiBarch) yet still uses all their spells...I dunno why but for me it is quite time inefficient cooking all those spells (around 1 hour+ cook time) just for a GiBarch army...

I do this and it works for me, I don't have problem waiting for my spells and also with the 1 gem boost it's better than ever.

And it's still faster and cheaper then a gowipe or heavy troop build

I don't, i realize i was using too much healing, so i put two healers in my farming army and now very rarely i use any spell.

I do, two heals, 4 earthquake, + gibarch, + plus hero's guarentees I can wipe out a max'd TH9's core, and do some decent damage to TH10's.

I'm raiding less and making more, the limiting factor is hero's heal time for me, which doesn't matter because I log on, raid, log off.

If I wanted to I could gem and make spells work when better.

There's also an option to raid, use spells, and next raid don't use spells because you haven't got them, I don't understand why you wouldn't use spells in any army when they enhance the raids.

If the base is worth it I use them.. if it is not, I don't.

It may be because they had a pre trained army but the base was too good to pass up. If not it could be because they wanted to use their spells up to make room for different ones.
