Why would SC be on holiday during New Years Eve! Disgusting.

You clearly have no idea how business's are run, if you're business is in trouble and you take a holiday you're ignoring the plight of your business and it's going to disappear down the pan.

As one of my clan mates aptly put it, " You don't refuse to get off the couch when your house is burning down because it's your day off"

I doubt very much if the key people took a holiday this year, the real issue is not whether they are on holiday, but why they are not communicating, they turned a bump in the road of updates into a PR disaster.

No. The hype was created by the public, that's why they felt the need to release the sneak peeks as early as they did. Because they saw the public blowing everything way out of proportion.

Because you know monitoring your product so it isn't broken? Who releases a product then decides to go on vacation, it's just poor management, how long did it take them to fix a simple PBT timer for 70 mb game? 5 days? Of course they're on vacation so it's obviously not their fault at all. /s.

I highly doubt Supercell a multi billion dollar company can't produce day 1 patches for a 70 mb when other multi billion dollar companies are putting out day 0 patches for giga bit sizes games (Battle field for example.).

Yes, but they have one, for SUPPORT (at least from the beginning of CoC). Could you please check the URL on your webbrowser ... i think it says something like ... forum.supercell.net ... supercell.net ... it is their domain, their forum, for support on their game.

Clash Con. Is a convention. About Clash, it's just convenient the update tied into it, but it was hyped on the FB page as a clan war tournament. And that is what it was.
