So, my defendless account get 100% in a raids and no shield is rewarded. At first I thought it's because they didn't drop 1/3 of their troops. I checked the log and find out that he actually only bring the queen and about 10 minions. He droped all of them and only get 60% of my base. I should get a shield in this case, shouldn't I???

Shield criteria is 1/3 of your max army including cc and heroes (for your th lvl), not the attackers troops on hand.

First off I'm assuming you are at least th 9. In that case as least 73 troop space needs to be deployed. So 10 minions = 20 space and I'm not sure about the queen but it really doesn't matter because I know that she is not worth 53 troop space (the amount needed to get to 73 from 20). That is why you didn't get a shield.
The update killed defense-less bases and rightly so. It was an exploit for war and should have been gone long ago. Build some defenses or tell me what league you are in so I can raid you. Thanks!

So, it's max number of troops that I can carry? Woah... that's mess up. SC should just make it 1/3 of the army they carry. It's not fair when they use 100% of their troops, and get more than 30%, and I'm not getting a shield. They really want to kill defendless.
I'm a TH8. 200 troops, so 1/3 would be around 67.
10 minions and queen is 45. Heroes counts as 25 I think
Do they count CC and heroes into this? If they do it would be 250/3 = 83.

Was it revenge ... when your base can be scouted ?
What does your base look like ...compact or spread out ?
Do you carry cc for defense ?
Fill cc, invest in hidden weapons and traps. You will still lose defenses but the attacker will need to commit.
edit.. cc is included, heroes are 25. maxxed th8 is 250 troops so attacker needs to use 83.

I guess attempts to manipulate war matching will have it costs in this type of thing. I admit that I have no issue with this at all.
it matters little if all he has is a canon1, which is what a defenseless account consists of
