1 gem boost happens every year at christmas.

This is definitely the broadest boosting i've seen in 3 years. The collector boost will end up lasting for about 16 days and the barracks/spell/hero boost will end up lasting 9 days.
I suspect you're right. SC is quietly tweaking to gradually get looting to be more profitable.
They boosted everything last year as well.
Having issues is one thing, but posting complete lies is another. (seems he did think before he posted)

Nobody actually lied....check the dates...seems a little earlier this year...coincidence I guess
The dates are the same. Announced on Dec 30th, 2014 through Jan 7th of 2015
here was the first round. they simply changed what was boosted first.
