1. Give up some loot (depending on attacker, of course) 2. In return, if your smart like a lot of veteran clashers you drop to gain loads of loot ( silver, gold, crystal ) 3. Use a cheap army ( you can figure that out ) 4. Build build build! It's fun! 5. Repeat! I don't know how much clearer I can be. Don't listen to these posts claiming its broken or its the end because its a load. Clash will be here always & for your info I buy gems, but only occasionally & just for key troop upgrades. I don't spend hundreds on gems. Makes it less fun. I like earning it.

Unless you find yourself conversing with people who claim to be a majority when in fact they are a minority. Then it is probably time to mention that they got their facts wrong. Especially when regarding the outcomes of elections.

In Lach's replay, all 3 heroes died, he had to use 5 lit spells to get to 50%. Even if you were to do this in champs, all your heroes would die, and you will also need spell support. Using 5 lit cost Lach 130k lix, eroding much of the savings he gained from using a cheap army. Also, 5 lit is 100 minutes of spells, along with losing 2-3 royals, you are looking at regen time of 1 hr to 1 hr 40 minutes easy. To gem spell factory and 2-3 royals, you are looking at boosting 3-4 buildings. Once you factor that in, the idea isn't so cost effective nor efficient anymore. Many of us noted this in Lach's post. Did you missed it? I can link you if you like.

PS. Please note the base lach hit was an open southern teaser. If this was an enclose base, lach wasn't likely to get any storages with his army, and only the heroes would make any penetration and thus he would realistically only be able to get 2-3 storages at the most, once again lowering his ROI.

You clearly still haven't read the thread.
I would have said 5-6 times that doing so in legend is an extreme, and you don't have the luxury of nexting to find a suitable base. So of course I had to use heroes up there. The intent of the thread went over 90% of people's heads.

Please note how many times I said the strategy is more effective in champions league, where you can skip to find an appropriate base, and not need to use heroes or spells.
I even posted a video of champ barch farming where no heroes or spells were used, the raid only took 25 seconds.
And as for storages... Well I also said that you're farming the league bonus, not storages. They are just an added bonus when you get them.
Again, on a southern teaser, you cant barch the outside for 50%, the only way is to go in for the majority of buildings.

I also stated that the strategy is not for everyone, but if even 1 person finds it helpful, then its a success.
If you prefer, I can stop interacting with the community and trying to help people to the best of my ability, and just sit back and merge.

I do NOT agree that they should have waited three years to do it, though.

removing the Th snipe should gave been done long ago. Doing it in addition to changing league bonus made this a really different game. If the real intent was to drive the freeplay and low spenders out it will likely succeed

1. Pre-update, i often break shield, and do raids when i have free time. This means that my village is open to atks several times a day.
2. Post- update, I don't break shield so my village is open to atks 1 or 2 times per day.
3. Essentially, without TH sniping, my village has remained closed most of the time.
4. TH sniping generated a significant amount of income with minimum expenditures for the game.
5. TH sniping allows for a more organized clan war, in terms with of providing/receiving donations.
6. Pre-update allowed me to farm at a leisurely pace, and it was fun. I play the game to have fun. I work for a real job (engineer) and when I have free time for a game, I want to be entertained. I don't want to work for a game.
