    Not really, because they hold on to their money, or spend it.

    In the clash economy, they basically always spend it.

    When the rich don't move their money around, no one else makes money.

    Therefore, new loot has to come from the bottom by spending little loot to gain a lot; then get raided by a bigger town hall for the loot to travel upwards.
    The real life analogy and CoC analogy of resource spending and hoarding is different. Actually.. when the rich don't spend their money, but hoardes it (in CoC), other people have the chance to grab a lot of it. In fact, doing so in higher leagues BOOSTS the economy by getting EXTRA income from THIN AIR.

    That cannot be done in real life.

    I am the average player I play in morning and then play at night they raid me they steal 200k of gold and elixir and 250k dark in attacking I gain that all back and finding a base with lots of recourses is fast so your gold is not being wasted in the next button also if your struggling max your base and don't rush and have a good base the only reason why people are complaining is because they where rushed or they only did town hall snipes and the game was not meant for town hall snipes

    There are two kinds of resource generation in COC transferred and generated

    transferred is the wealth that is gained after a proper raid on a village and it involves deducting the cost of the army + the nexting cost to determine profit of the raid

    The second is Generated ie the resources that we get from generators and Farming dead bases and TH snipes where the profit was huge and cost almost minimal

    So one advantage on th snipes was the loot bonus which only mattered at higher leagues which drew some players to climb the trophy ladder

    The second and the most important advantage of TH sniping was giving bases with low resources a shield and removing them from the nexting queue.With the snipes gone the nexting cost and time has increased dramatically.This might appear a minor nuisance to many people but imagine the increased amount of gold spent in COC globally this is the gold that's going out of COC every time you click next


    Before the update the 'true chiefs' often raided the farmers for loot and farmers then got it back by sniping or farming dead bases. This was the economic cycle before update

    As the result of the changes this is now the economy is into a state where everyone is attaching a lower TH and trying to do 100% rather than attacking a equivalent TH in higher leagues (for bonus)and there is not enough loot to go around.

    With the boost ending on 7th its going to be a fish eat small fish out there and not sure how much loot is going to be around to raid
    Ok, I have to agree with you. And I think your post is only one of a few post that make sense. A few minor disagreement, but not much.

    I don't think people claim higher league to "snipe". Because after master, you don't find base with TH outside that often. I think people "farm" league bonus (50%), and a snipe once in a while is a nice "bonus"

    The advantage of sniping where it takes out base with lower loot out of system. I think it might be true for higher league. I don't think it's true for anything below crystal. People don't bother to snipe TH below (unless they're pushing). The problem with sniping is it takes out all the "full storage" and it makes it harder to find a base with good loot to raids. I don't know about people, but I often see a base with full storage in 10-20 next. So, I have a lot more target to raids.

    However, your main point is true. It's transferable loot. The problem with transferable loot is it's not enough. Without the Generated loot, it might be a problem in the long run.

    Well, the 1gems boost suppose to help out a bit in that problem, I think

    You can dismiss your shield and take another defense immediately. If you don't care about loot and have faith in your base, then do that.

    I want to up this post, because he made some really good point regarding "type of resources". With the number of base without shield increase significant, and dead base was pushed back, there won't be enough of lack of "Generated loot". I'm very surprise that not many people care about the really good post above, but rather rant with complaints.

    For the record, I believe removing cheap shield is the right direction.

    I think the best way to increase the "generated loot" is mixing the queue up instead of pushing the active base forward. Maybe, the queue would include 1 dead base each 50 regular base, and mix them up. (so it doesn't mean you will find a dead base after 50 next. It might take way less or way more, because of TH lv, random distribution, etc).
