    Early TH9 is always rough.

I am an early TH9 currently at 1600 trophies. I cannot seem to find as much loot as I used to. Where's the best place for farming post-update? Not limiting to just dead collector bases, just good loot in general, storages and/or collectors. I was thinking gold/silver but too many people here hunting dead bases.
It was certainly tough when I did it before the update and I thanked my lucky stars that I maxed out everything, including my king, before making the leap. Nothing was as hard as becoming a new TH9 imho.

The new way to do it seems to be to just push as far up in trophies as you can, but don't roll insane armies to do it. My current army consists of 20 giants, 4 healers, 14 wizards and 4 wallbreakers, with 1 rage and 3 heal spells. You may have to look a bit for a good base to hit but they are there.

I agree. A new TH is difficult. Try using the jump spell. Love that spell. Helps me get to the core.

As a TH9 the game always forced me to attack maxed TH9 or TH10 in all leagues up to champion, the loot wasn't any different only league bonus changed and made the difference but it got boring pretty fast so I'm now dropping thropies and only raiding the drills and leaving my opponent at %15-25 unshielded no spell uses as well. In masters I always had to use strong armies and all four spells to raid (and couldn't even get the full loot) which is the reason it got boring pretty fast. In this period I got only 4 or 5 dead bases(I mean in 2 weeks) maybe I'm just unlock or didn't do nexts enough.
You have to do storage raids now. Collector bases are now a thing of the past.

It has come to my attention that certain people don't react well to neutral opinions that aren't sugarcoated, and as an effort to avoid wasting forum space to deal with these individuals, my posts may be more caring and understanding than my real thoughts.

    what about crystal?

I am trying to push to crystal 2/1 to see how good loot is up. I have heard in forums and reddit that higher up, loot is better because of more storage bases and loot bonus...wonder how loot is in high crystal and low master leagues?
