Hello Clashers,
I found that the complexity of the war and strategic side of the game, overall, suffered tremendously after the last change, with introduction of CC DE spell slot, allowing people to bring double poison to the war.
Now, even pre-update, the strategy around clan castle troops suffered a lot as there was no longer any point in putting anything but Dragon or Lava Hound inside CC. However, with introduction of the 2nd Poison, even the Dragon can not stand the might of dual poison.
Now, I actually miss the element of surprise one could do to sway the tide of the attack, like putting occasional witch, wizards, etc.
I hope SuperCell would revisit this matter, as I would love to have that aspect of war return.
As of right now, I really do not see any use of the CC troops, its auto-Dragon or Lava Hound fill for my clan.
