Barching for league bonus - My Experiment

suggestion. Try this same experiment, don't drop your heros. You got 3 maxed heros, this kinda seems either myopic in scope or antagonistic. ill give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it wasn't meant to be antagonistic or to dangle an unachievable money source to th9s, but maybe preface this tactic to only apply to very well developed th10/11s? I know you think its easy in masters but for the average joe out there even up in masters this isn't going to be a cake walk. Plus im sure your eye is a little more refined at judgning building concentration and what you can get with just an archer or two before dropping in the bulk.

Like any other army composition it takes practice at recognition, but this is easily achievable to a th9 at high masters or low champs level. I used to barch high masters as a th10 with barch level 6 back when mid/high masters was similar to what champs 3 is now....and my heroes were sub 20 then. Barch is and always will be a survivors army.....when all else goes to pot you can always turn to it.

Come on man! Do you want make people here even more upset? Most of the farmers have their royals updating constantly! This means in the best Scenario 40 weeks without them! How can you get the 50% in TH 10 with barch and without them?

Farmers with 2 royals upgrading constantly don't need help with farming ... obviously they are finding enough loot. This video was for the casual player who says they can only do a couple of raids per day and unable to make a proft from those raids ...

With all the recent controversy about barching being nerfed and being forced to create larger armies, I wanted to conduct a little test, at the risk of losing my much loved legend trophies.

So, I decided to take a standard BArch army, and try for league bonus in legend.
Now obviously I wouldn't expect people to push to legend for the bonus, but a 150k (ish) bonus in champs is fairly decent for a barch attack, and rather easy for even a Town Hall 9 to achieve. I did it my whole farming life.

So, the army consisted of 80 Barbarians, 160 archers, 1 poison, 1 EQ spell (not needed), 5 lightning spells, (Which werent all needed, see video), heroes and Clan Castle troops.

Total army cost = 230k Elixir (remember not all spells will be needed, and they are half the army cost) and 180DE.
Total loot gained from league bonus is 340k Gold, 340k Elixir and 2400 DE.
That's a profit of 340k Gold, 110k Elixir (at least) and 2220 DE just in league bonus.
Then in the actual raid I made:



Total profit:
701,237 Gold.
200,866 Elixir.
2231 Dark Elixir.

And that is from one raid, on an army that took half an hour to cook. I urge clashers to move up the leagues a bit, and start looking at the league bonus as a viable source of income, instead of relying on collector bases.
And as a bonus! It's incredibly rare you dont get a shield up here!

You are right that if you want to farm then you must farm in your own ligue... But the problem is if you go up then your base will be demolished almost every time


Also all who have rushed base can now just delete that and start new acc because they cant farm if they are TH 10 and they have troops like TH 8

You share something thats not important to us normal players because you have MAX heroes so you cant show us your farming...

I've been successfully barching champs since my heroes were only 2020. Now I do it on the regular in titans with 4040 heroes. Yes, as a TH10, I get destroyed every time my PBT happens, but I'm still very profitable. Barch is extremely viable at all levels.

I like this thread and i am currently experiencing good results on barching too. I will climb up higher for better bonuses i guess. Ty

So I should gem my grand wizard to max level��? Why would farmers care how people who gem their armies to max play? It's completely different style, I totally get gemming if pushing and leaderboards is your thing, but why gem to farm?

I have no idea what the point of this thread is

edit: I stand by my reply above, but I do want to acknowledge that Lach used to be one of the best farmers and he did risk using that army at an insane trophy level for us on the forum. Mad props to him for doing that, as it is quite impressive and risky.

It's not a different style. People who are weaker can choose a weaker base. The same principle applies to lower leagues, and judging by the number of outside storages I see in champs I'm thinking I should just switch to barch and do the same thing

I just upgraded my queen yesterday and she was still sleeping now. Even with 1 gem boost, I don't want to attack any bases at all with only BK lol

I disagree, farming and building a base is completely different than pushing. Especially high level pushing like Latch is doing.

I can can still make farm more profit in silver, it's just not nearly as fun as it once was.
