the gamehave noo future . they can't keep adding th lvls . think about it . to reach end game you need now 3/4 years . you get tirred of grinding for ressources and building = repeat .
they know it . that's why they are trying to slw down progression . remooving th snipping / cheap armies attaques adding things to build here and here ( air sweeper / dark spells ..) adding something to loose loot on ( war ) . adding more troupes lvl each time . they are just trying to win time . it have no future

in hindsight lets just say you can max everything in less than a year, what would you do than, what objective would you have within the game?

Background... TH9 troops and defenses maxd. Walls are 70% Legos, working on upgrading those. Never joined a clan ever (meaning I've never viewed a clan war composition) , never bought gems. Can be found playing in Masters League. Semi casual player.

From what I'm seeing after the update is that a) most are woefully undeveloped for the TH level they have; b) most have refused to adapt to the new structure and are getting killed playing the old way in the new world; c) being forced to now play at the appropriate level instead of being a bully to the lower levels like most bullies being put down they don't like it, cry and pout and now want sympathy.

I laughed at one post ( a TH9) saying they were quitting because they had to now build "war" armies, posted their "war army" component and said they were quitting. Heck, if that's their idea of a "war army" No wonder I'm racking up defending wins...

Since the update, except for a few minor tweaks adapting to my BK upgrading, my army hasn't changed. If I don't gem, it takes 42 minutes costing 130,000 in elixir and 430 DE.

Bases I attack haven't changed, loot is a tad smaller ( not much smaller) but being able to get three attacks while shielded more than makes up for that. The major change are my losses from attacks...as in, very little in losses.

Being forced to do the upgrades long ignored makes people mad. Pre update there were scores of posts about walls not being necessary to upgrade, mines and collectors not needing to be max'd, and the only important thing was concentrate on offense then upgrade to higher TH levels. Those advising balance and max'ing a base before upgrading were derided.

For those swallowing that song of offense only.. How's that treating ya lately?

Adapt. If it's not a storage or a weapon....put it outside. Buildwalls up, starting from the inside working out ( max core walls then max each ring working out). Accept long build times for armies, or gem boost the build time. And quit whining about its all CoC's fault you followed bad advice and got caught with your pants down. Nobody but yourself put you in that position.

Me? I'm having a blast with this new update.

Personally I've been playing the game for almost 3 years. I HAVE spent money, and I'm one of the bases that has been maxing everything out before going up a TH. I'm a th level 9, and get matched up with nothing but th 10, of which my troops stand no chance. I can make a super army and maybe get 3/4ths of loot available, which is hardly ever very much. You know there is a problem with the game when i jump 5 leagues because people dumping troops. I feel like I'm punished by not rushing my base to th 10. Sure i now have freeze spell, which supposedly was going to help balance. LOL the short amount of time it freezes on level one is worthless. I'm outmatched before i hit the next button.

This update has destroyed the game, but it is good to see people in the company toeing the line. Supercell, you effed up. You only succeeded at running off players that enjoyed the community they were in, as much as a social thing to do as a game itself. Personally I'm done with the game. I just had to make an account to post my thoughts and complaints, which is something I RARELY do. I will also be going to google play and giving a 1 star. The worst part of this whole thing is I honestly can't tell if supercell was that ignorant about the update, or they knew and just didn't care about what the reaction would be. Either way, congratulations on trying to milk a game for more money than you guys were already raking in. you shot yourselves in the foot, and refuse to respond to people. The most rabbid die hard fans of this game that i know, are really trying to stay with it, but the fun is GONE. I'm also tired of being punished for not rushing my th, only to get smoked by th 10's non stop. Thank you for the years i spent on the game that should have been spent elsewhere, and now will be.

glad you are loving it, a 43 minute army doesn't cut it against infernos but whatever.

good to see the flowers and starbursts are there for folk that can cook an army that long and have fun.

personally, I log off and play other games, then log in and attack, is that sustainable? Maybe the sunflowers in The update lovers garden can tell us.

...but it sucks for everyone else. I am a new TH9 who maxed out both offense and defense before upgrading. The only loot I see while nexting is in the hundreds of TH11, TH10 & maxed TH9 bases I get matched with. I have to hide behind empty storages or I get rolled repeatedly...I see no way to save up the gobs of loot I need to upgrade troops to a level that will allow me to take it from the bases I am offered. I honestly think this is by design: spend gems to advance through the roadblock or progress at a crawl.

Today I could not even had the opportunity to raid properly..why cause Supercell decided I should be taking a break. I have managed to be online for 5mins in the morning to collect my resource and check what the clans are doing, after which I than logged in few hours later and had message telling me to basically f*** off ive been playing too long...whhaaaaattttt how I have not been on infact my phone was off thoughout that period..so basically I can't play this game anymore that's 3 years gone down the drain..cheers..so SC when do YOU want people to play this game huh?

if you read that, it was directed regarding the PBT issue which has now been fixed..the gameplay however I have now been accustomed to although still prefer how it was before the update, the end goal has not been changed its just it will take longer to get achieve max base
