...Getting a perverse sense of pleasure out of watching defensive replays?

I mean, I'm probably pushing a bit high as a th8 (almost at masters) but the second my guard runs out and I get the attack in progress notification, I can't help but log in to watch what is almost certainly going to be a painful attack by a th9.

I do enjoy watching the hesitant troop drops on my very simple but random design, forcing the use of a full army just to get close to the 70% for league bonus (ok, deceptively simple. I'm using every trick in the book to slow down farming troops).

I know I'm going to get wiped out for two resources (except when I don't... And then, JOY!) but seriously, knowing you're giving a fully upgraded farming army from the TH above a headache is pretty fun.

I do think I'm the only person not missing the TH shield atm, but taking these defences is kinda fun.

Oh yeah, also, the revenge attacks for 3-4k DE with mass drags are a bonus too

Yep, I've pushed back on up to crystal once again and made myself a nice hybrid base. Going on defense now has some fun in it again!

Haha! Nice! Did just see a post advertising crystal as the place to be for loot so things could be getting interesting soon :/ (am carrying enough that TH10s will flatten me sometimes )

I created a second account about 6 months back. Since this was my second account, I decided to take my time and fully upgrade each th. Walls, heroes, everything. Not for one second was my th outside. Why bother since it was my fun, take my time account. I do enjoy watching defensive replays on it, regularly smashed by a th 9. Not even an hour ago though I watched it come under a mass drag attack while my elixir storages were full at 6 mil while I wait for my next troop upgrade to be done so I can start another. Dude barely one starred me and walked away with barely 100k e. Not much de or gold to take at the moment so he defenitly wanted the e. Wasted so much on 10 drags and spells. Was hilarious to watch. Now I'm sitting on my shield and didn't even bother boosting elixir collectors. Can't wait to dump this elixir though. Meanwhile, my th 10 just started max barbs tonight in lab and is elixir poor. Gemmed queen upgrade and she is back to wreaking havoc

Btw as a side note. 2nd time around my take my time account is growing so much faster than main account did. Easier when u know what your doing second time around

Lol, hordes of them! With giants to tank and arch in support! You know the defensive win is coming when the AQ gets dropped and starts following the giants towards what I like to call 'the corridor of death'

lol I'm a TH11 with 35+ heroes and old max defenses -tons of magma walls. So, ya, as a hater of the update, it gives me a vile sense of pleasure watching people struggle to get my loot.

It's ESPECIALLY euphoric when I get to revenge the failed ones.

The guys raiding me are likely gem-boosters and update-lovers, desperate to convince themselves that this update is great. So, you can imagine how great it feels to suck all the enjoyment out of the game for them by brutally revenging them.

I recently got 400k of each and 4K de from a TH11 guy that dropped a barb on my base to trophy drop lol....I ONLY revenge now. I'm not injecting any loot into the economy by prompting a potential revenge -not until they bring back farming.
