I have been playing for 2 years and bought gems for around 1000usd.

Do I regret it? No, this game gave me more than my 10 ps4 games I bought and never played.

What I regret is that I had 40k gems today and there was no use for it. Boosting is useless now and boosting collectors is annoying without free shields. So what did I do? I gemmed my grand warden up to lv. 15 and all new defenses to max (except the eagle artillery). Heroes are at 28/30 btw.

This won't be a hate post. Supercells made it clear that there is a lack of communication.

I want to thank the forum and supercell for such a good time! It's sad what this update made with the game and I'm sorry for SC because they always delivered good and polished updates! I hope it all gets good with some tweaks.

I'm so tired and stressed with this game that I don't think I'll ever come back, they could've even brought back the old shield system. It just took my lust to play this and I don't care anymore.

But then again, thanks for everything!

I fully understand your thoughts and how this update has killed a desire to play. It just isn't the same wide open game it used to be. I'm going to try to hang in there but can tell I'm on the way out also. Your post sends you out with class, it has been an awesome game that we all appreciated for quite a while. Thanks for showing that a person can disagree with the changes while still going out on the high road.

Why the surprise?
People spending real money on this game is why everyone has this game to play in the first place .
The big gemmers are probably not as numerous as the working/busy casuals who would buy $10-100 of gems periodically. If you lose too many of those casuals, someone has to make up for the loss of gem sales or SC profits will decline.

Incidentally, you should leave your collectors, storages, mines, and drills completely protected. Why make it easy when some are claiming the loot isn't bad? The casuals who don't play much probably are not the people who will find your base. It will get raided by the ones who play a lot.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your kind words! There aren't many people with "courage" to call someone mature and even agree on something. The forum has become way too toxic. I'm surprised that there are almost no people laughing it my at how I won't adapt and stuff.
