TH8, maxed except for 83 more walls.
I don't have a use for the Elixir I make so I burn it in high cost armies for raids. I can't let too much E be stored or I will get raided.
Same thing for DE. Use it or lose it. I burn it fast on expensive armies.
I take these horriblely expensive armies and I hunt for gold. I don't have a real concern about ROI. My goal is to make it past 500k in a playing session.
So I can immediately put that into another block of wall.
Done right, I have burned all my E and DE or horrendous raiding armies and put my G profit into walls.
I plan to play until all my walls are finished and current gems are used. No point in upgrading my TH. TH9 is going to be impossible with the absence of loot and the new PvP matching method.
So. I'm part of the loot problem, even as I play the game "the way it is meant to be played."
SC needs to think real hard about what the "fix" will do. The CoC economy is very complex and any tweak with likely have a multitude of unintended consequences as players each act in their own perceived self interest. That will range from irrational acts (29% attackers) to rage quits due to frustration with an "impossible" game.
Personally, I am not optimistic that they will put much thought into the tweaks. Given how willing they were to make a single, huge change like removing TH snipping, I don't expect the next moves to be any more thoughtful or precise.
Good luck fellow Chiefs. I will continue to drain resources in the fashion that benefits me. I expect each of you to play in your own self interest (or walk away).
