Thread: Armies being too expensive and time consuming is the real issue

    One of the main reason people liked barch was because it allowed them to play more or less continuosly. Now even if v boosted you have often to wait half an hour.
    What's the point boosting if it doesn't let you keep playing?
    Then there's the donations issue. If we are at war and it takes me FORTY FIVE minutes to make a golem or a hound to donate that stops me raiding for ages. This is not FUN.

    Compare this to boom beach where the maximum possible build time is 1hour 10 mins and usually you need none at all then it certainly looks like the build and cost of armies on clash have gone way out of control.

    If armies and spells were cheaper and quicker people would donate more. Raid more play more boost more. Experiment more. Generally have more fun and be willing to invest more in the game and have a more rewarding experience.

    Yes man! I told sc about this issue just one day after the th11 update ! And what they replied me was , they will consider that but that's not sure if it's gonna happened in the next update for
    decreasing the time of training troops , and they ask me to go to forum and post thread about this , but I didn't do because , we can just agree each other but still sc won't make it Sorry for my bad English :/ Hope u understand what I say

    Not so much the real issue, but it is one....

    Depends where you are at. I had been sitting in masters 1 raiding with a full army for months before update happened and I was content. I would get a couple attacks in each day and even make a little bit on my raids and get the occasional snipe that was a bonus. Taking away the town hall snipe took away my ability to slowly progress through this grind by protecting my resources.

    I know that SC wanted to encourage people to attack instead of snipe, I'm OK with that, but they should have replaced the snipe which was a income generator and a defensive strategy with a way to inject more loot into the game that this update removed. Rewarding successful attacks with a refund on troops used(for successful attacks) would address my issue I think and move more advanced players to higher leagues and let the little guys in the lower leagues not get rekt as often.

    As far as decreasing training time; I've always been in favor of that and also being able to use heroes in war when upgrading. Neither injects loot in the game which keeps people progressing regardless of their speed. But I support it and it might even make me a bit more active, which if that is SC intent, is cool with me.

    all in one word there is no way of grinding.
