It has happened a few times where my clan has been matched with the same clan. If u are on the same start schedule they are, it could happen. We always started at 8:00PM Chicago time and matched same clan a few times.
Or one party makes a new clan ....

I've only ever had one back-to-back war with the same clan, I'll have to find the photo but that's the only time it's happened. Pretty sure both clans had very unique scaling and the rest was probably just pure luck and good timing.
I've heard of clans setting up wars with eachother? Not sure how, would be pretty corrupt if it worked.
