I would 2nd that. Angrily ranting is not very helpful. But that doesn't go for Dr.Drill alone as one can read in some of the replies.

I'm quit happy with the update because the game fits much better with my real life. Even if it has its flaws. They'll get fixed, I'm sure!

I'm not "angrily" ranting I can assure you. I am mearly responding to all the whiners. So how does that retract from my point? Please tell me how casual players are "suffering". Simply using the word "suffering" in relation to what is going on here is an insult to those that are really suffering in the world.

I'm not sure if this is really the place to talk about the pain that this update has caused, but I figured I'd just stick it here and then be done with it. I think it's a well-documented fact that this game is ruined for the casual clasher. Over the course of the last two and a half years I've probably bought $500 to $600 worth of gems. I bought these because I wanted to have them for boosts, gemming troops from time to time, or a lot of times for donating troops.

Now supercell has made it impossible to play this game without having to buy gems. If I had the time to play this game 24 7 I'm sure I would love most of the aspects of the update. But unfortunately for supercell I have a life as I would venture to say a vast majority of the community does. I hope they find a way to balance the hardcore clash community with the casual clash community, otherwise they will lose a large group of their players.

I've seen a lot of complaints about this update but nothing from supercell on what they think about the unrest in the community. Personally I would like supercell to at least acknowledge it, at least let us know that they're working on trying to correct it. Until I see that my collectors will be full so feel free to raid away.

It's a troll post. It's probably one of the rival gaming companies thinking they can help knock clash off. They are all the same. 2 posts and complaining bout ♥♥♥♥ that is absurd and obviously failing to recognize that SC as already given statements on the issues.

Sigh. Yes, I use the word 'suffering' very loosely, in a #firstworldproblems kinda fashion.

When you resort to caps, profanity, and calling people a bunch of pansies, it does surprisingly create the impression of an angry rant.

It then detracts from your point, as it can be dismissed as an angry rant, in the same way as you dismiss those complaining about the update as a whiny rant.

The only reason I have bothered to comment here, is sadly, you're also detracting from MY points as well.

When someone with a wealth of forum and game experience such as myself, or sneaky in his thread try to tell people there are indeed ways to progress (without massive playtime, gem use, and at a reasonable rate), it's dismissive rants like yours those opposed to these pearls of wisdom can point to. Claiming all in favour, or at least reasonable tolerance of the update, are fanboys or trolls.
