    Thoughts and mature discussion about update- POST PBT UPDATE

    Hey everyone,

    Thank you to whoever saw my first post ("Thoughts and mature discussion about update") as I am trying to help make the game better for everyone. I am late on this and my base design post due to personal reasons and holidays. But let's start off with the most important one.

    If you saw my last post, I mentioned changes I would like to see, as well as a MATURE discussion on the topic. I did not want trolls coming in and ripping on the update, and I expect the same from this post.

    Since my last post, they have implemented changes to the personal break and have included a personal break timer. I applaud these changes. They have appeased some of the community having issues with the new changes. It is also very helpful to see exactly how much time I have left before the break.

    Now onto the most important part. As I stated in my last post, I am an active war member with 400+ stars (just over a year playing on new account), as well as active farmer. I will be postine a detailed guide on how to farm post update soon (spoiler: I use GiBarch). As far as my update progress, since the update (about 3 weeks), I have started/finished all of my wizard tower upgrades and have just started my golem to level 3 (No I did not gem resources, I never have).

    HOWEVER, I feel that the loot is WAY too low for farmers. I am currently changing professions, so I am able to raid more often than the average player (I raid about 3-6 times per day depending on shield). I am nexting an average of about 12 times before I find a base that even has loot worth enough to raid.

    So, post PBT upate, here are my suggestions (as well as my previous suggestions):
    1) loot NEEDS to be re-balanced. I suggest a daily reward as many mobile games offer. Only for a few gems/little loot per day. I think that would help the Clash economy

    2) heros need to be cheaper to wake up. Or they should cost gold/elixer to wake up. If I miss an attack and need to wake them up, they should be treated like defenses, not attackers.

    3) spell training time needs to be shortened drastically. Sure, spells are expensive. But Supercell, how do you expect us to perform full attacks when we don't have any spells?

    Thank you guys again for your mature comments. If you're a troll, comments need not apply. I will be playing the game despite what updates come. After all, it is a game. And as mentioned implied in my last post, we should enjoy the town hall levels we are at. We would do the same with playstation and xbox games, so let's give a little room for improvement on our favorite mobile game. I hope to start a youtube channel, where I can give my thoughts quicker than typing. But until then, thank you guys again for your mature and level-minded comments, and happy clashing!

    I like the idea of the update overall,but at the same time i dont have any time at all to be planning when to raid and worrying when not to be online so i can direct my clan in war so we can win. Life and education/work(maybe both) comes first and i hope supercell understands that now. When being told raid while shielded,they didnt think that part through because a majority of players dont pay attention to how much time is left on their sheid(unless trophy pushing),saying that now would be a lazy excuse. The personal break i believe should be back to 6hours and adding the village guard shouldnt add on that time,but still play it role of being able to pretend being online when your not. Doing that Imo would settle a lot of clashers down. With us being raided more we are losing way more loot,especially when being bullied by th10s/11s. There isnt a reward for when we win defences except more lost loot. Even when trophy pushing loot matters because youre going to be nexting a lot when your high up the leagues(as a th9 at least). A lot of raids torwards me have been wins but i have still lost over 2k de or 300k of some type of resource and that is hard to gain back up especially if its losing elixir or de. Its also time consuming to set your raid up and raid while sheilded right after youre raided(if youre lucky enough to come back on with over a 3hr sheild). Its challenging when you have to deal with school/work and for me its both so its been extremely hard. In another note ,the league bonuses need to be a lot higher since we are having/feeling forced to make more expensive raids. That would also help us feel more awarded and raiding more with a better return. Anyways lets hope everything is worked out and we get more responses and supercell hopefully works along with us to make clash of clans in a better spot than it ever has before.

    I believe simple increase of the league bonus (30% to 40% increase on he current maybe?) or having full bonus at 50% destruction can help rebalance the loot

    Also refilling loot in the goblin maps even it is just 50% per season is already a big help...

    Maybe they also can try the new bounty system as mentioned in the forums, where every time a base gets nexted...the base earns a bounty (like 50k gold and elix for every time he gets nexted)

    Totally agree,

    I am about to go back to school (post-bachelors) and clash is not the only thing on my mind. Granted, I love this game and want it to continue, but with the update being for better of the community, I don't think they achieved that. I think the town hall idea was great, but they do need to add in a defensive reward. That will definitely help produce numerous base designs, as well as improve the economy. Thanks for your comment!

    Haven't heard of the bounty idea, but I like it! That could be something they include besides defensive wins. The only problem I see with that is the nexting due to low loot, and I'm sure it will be easy to work around that type of system (just like th sniping). But I love the ideas and I can only hope Supercell is watching this in order to make the game better than before!

    On #2, if this is the direction they really want to go with forcing us to defend, they should treat heroes like Clan War all the time. Make them a constant defense, anything less and it's just an obvious gem grab, anything else doesn't make sense.

    I like your ideas and am really hoping they will listen. The single biggest problem with this game is that they purposely made it slow and boring and then allow you to speed it up by spending gems. This is a real problem. Troops cook too slowly. Spells brew too slowly. And heroes regenerate too slowly. All of these things need to happen faster (especially heroes), but SC may choose not to comply because they want the game to be boring enough that you will spend money on gems to speed the game up to where it needs to be to be fun.

    I would hope at the very least they would change hero regen time to 30 minutes + 1 minute per level (instead of 2 minutes per level). That is not a huge change and would still leave plenty of room for gemming, but would make it so that when your heroes die you don't find yourself with a forced 108 minute break. There have been many occasions when I logged in looking forward to a night of playing only to have my queen die on the first raid and I have to look for something else to do for the next 2 hours because the game is unplayable (which is the exact reason why I am on the forums now).

    Until someone can show me a strategy to farm in champs+ with no heroes and no spells I will continue to consider this game unplayable without my queen.

    SC wants to slow you down.

    They have nerfed farming update after update. This update is just more "in your face" than every other update to farmers.

    It will hurt SC....because most farmers are probably their most consistent revenue.

    Whales spend a lot very quickly....farmers spend a little over a long period.

    There are millions of more farmers compared to whales.

    A Guard after you've been attacked so u can reset your traps or change your base ( if really wanted to)
    Cheaper Rearming Cost
    New hero (even though im not a th11 its a very good idea, but it needs a bit of a nerf)
    Added a timer for the annoying PBT

    Bad: War Matching making really unfair (Im in a lvl3 clan, Done a war yesterday against a clan thats lvl8 and has more th10's and th9's that were better then most of the clan).
    Loot bonuses are shocking and i'm in masters, and i'm surviving by hitting any weak th10's or max th9's with a bit of loot, to be honest im a decent th 10 and im struggling with elixer and im using Gibarch
    PBT, i understand they idea behind but quite frankly, its stupid a game that punishes you for being not attacked cause your base is too good (needs to be removed)
    If they have removed most dead bases, i strongly disagree with this, because this is how most community gets there upgrades even a decent th10 like me

    Good Luck holding onto 8-10 million for upgrades in this climate. As I said previously "the biggest update ever" was purely about making things more profitable for them and not for the players. I have given this update a good test run and I am sure the game is gonna die off in it's current format. Trophy dropping is worse than it ever was. 3 long years and it seems they finally found a way to strangle the last little bit of life outta it. Good Job SC.
