it's very rare to found a single TH8 in champs... i just repeating what happen to me a few months ago. Some TH9 attack me with no mercy.

Back in my day... I was smashed and smashed and smashed and smashed as a TH8 by TH9s. Every friggin shield finish along came Jones and SMASHED me. Very disheartening.
BUT
I had a dream. I dreamed of the day when I would be a TH9 and could likewise Smash TH8s by the dozen. It made me all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. It kept me going through those dark bleak times when I thought the Smashing would never end.
One day, TH9 arrived. I made it. Oh, life was going to be so juicy and filled with overflowing TH8 loot. I was drooling. My knees were trembling at the thought. But then...

The new update and Better Matchmaking they said... you will no longer see so many bases Below you they said... you will now Mostly see bases of your own TH Level they said....

How does a brand new TH9 with only TH8 strength troops and TH8 number of troops attack TH9s?
They Don't!
Next. Next. Next. That became my mantra. My lot in life was now clicking next. Black cannons made me cringe. Xbows would see me run away in fear. Every TH snipe was taken with trepidation in case it was trapped with max teslas.
WHY!? Why had SC done this to me? Just as I was set to enact my revenge on all those poor helpless TH8s, my ability to find them had been nerfed. It wasn't fair. Not Fair At All, I tell you. Oh... it was enough to bring a 12 year old girl to tears. Good thing I wasn't one otherwise I would have been crying like a baby. I just know I would have.
You know what I did?
I hardened the eff up and dealt with it. Took each TH10 and maxed TH9 in my stride and clicked Next past them as fast as I could. Because I had to.
Then one day... the heavens opened up and there, in front of me, in all its pink juicy ball glory... a TH8, loaded to the brim. I could hear angels chioring. And I attacked. And SMASHED it.
But not always. Some I took pity and gave them a shield. But most I Smashed. And I smashed and smashed and I smashed. Each and every one I came across who could give me loot.
And not just the TH8s. Any base that was abandoned. The occasional 7 - OMG! I would drop my trusty GBarch and go hard, then go home pockets jingling.
So, young TH8 padawan... rejoice in the knowledge that this too shall pass and then one day... YOU will be a TH9 and can obliterate poor TH8s. And the cycle of TH8s hating TH9s will continue.
But Be Warned... when you are an early 9... oh boy... you are so pathetic, worthless and weak. Can't smash 8s, can't do anything to a 9. That is a hard time. But you will get through it.
And so endeth today's lesson. Now go forth and SMASH some TH7s, like you usually do.
Come on, it has always been the way of this game: you raid someone rich and are weaker than you.

There's no such thing as bullying, get a grip, Th9s get smashed by 10s and most of us don't give a *beep* its part of the game.
If you have 250k each you can be sure I won't have any mercy, just because I'm a th9 doesn't mean your loot/cups are not for me. Th10s do the same thing to us and now 11's do it to 10's, you cannot have full storage's and expect a higher TH to just go, "too easy, I need a stronger target" no one does that.

I go after any target that has what I want and get...th8s usually mean I'll use less spells or not lose a hero and gain more loot overall but if I'm goin for only de th9s and th10s have more so I'll go there...

The maximum loots for storage is 300000 loots... If TH9 has filled storage, the loot amount will be close to half filled storage of TH8 or to say it once the storage have 2500000 of elixir or gold or 40000 of DE the loot meter will stop increasing so it will make it easier of TH9 to guarantee the retain of his loot by attacking TH8 that prepare to upgrade his hogs, Golem, Valkyrie, or pekka using the super queen method that can be affective against early TH8 without giving the early TH8 any chance to get sheild since the most of the maxed TH9 come with maxed queen + maxed TH11 in their CC + 2 x highly upgraded poison spells (one in their CC) which make the CC defence against them so pointless since they use likely AQ with 4 of 13 healers prepared to attack the early TH8 without giving them any chance to get shields (the most of those are trying to prove that they can still exploit the system with this kind of attack and the one who pay are the TH8, while TH7 won't offer the amount needed by TH8 to return their lost loot since they need an expensive attack to return their loots even from TH7 especially the ones who already started to upgrade their troops)
The whole system is not for this kind of update and the most of the TH9 had maxed AQ to play in their favour, if SC did not nerf the healer a little bit, All of the TH8 will be impossible to progress because of those queens and the healers behind them which is impossible for air defence to reach them (many of TH9 where angry for this nerf after they were attacking any request from TH8 or TH10 that could have any negative affect against their super-queen attack)!!!
