Why does everyone stay at such a low league

Because it's even less efficient in higher leagues now than before the update. You now need 70% destruction to get the full bonus, and the bonus given at 50% is less than it was before the update. To get 70% destruction in leagues where the bonus matters, you just can't use a cost efficient army. You need an expensive army and spells that takes forever to cook.

There simply isn't enough incentive or reward for most people that care about loot and upgrades to move up.

I don't chose to be in low leagues, there is no incentive to go higher. I'm looting de only, I get attacked maybe twice a day, and when I was in champs 3, I had no desire to cook an army with spells for 2 hours to get 10 trophies. Each attack I make I get above 2000 de. Why should I try to trophy push? The next change supercell will make is troops can no longer target loot collectors, and the loot bonus will be the only way to earn resources. And you can only get the loot if you do above 96% damage, and only if all builder huts are destroyed. They will probably make sure that it will now cost 5 gems to next a base too...that's the way the game was intended to be played...

Dont understand why people do move up leagues so they can find better loot. it makes finding loot a lot easier especially with the bonus. and you are able to attack numerous times before you lose your shield resulting in a nice profit.

Seems most players crying about loot are a higher town hall in a very low league.

According to all the pros here on the forums it's the way sc intends there game to be played so adapt and deal with it.

I guess to each his own but my looting has increased since the update. Sometimes i click next a few times but i have been finding great loot here.

obviously you cant barch up here but i have never been a fan of it, been using giants healers and valks and literally wrecking bases.

doh! course they do else I wouldn't need to drop now, would I?

I spend 3 mins dropping, maybe snipe a couple ion the way down...get down to honey pot land and farm until I feel like I'm out of troops, log off, catch some def wins...rinse and repeat.

you should try it, everyone is down here...I think this is what sc had I mind when they said ' adapt'

Then what? Grind out 29% battles for 4 hour?
