We are a adult group who puts threads out to join us but rarely get any one from this forum to join us iam at 40 and over a-1 rarely get anyone to join is it are name or what we kick more people than we keep is there a secret we don't know about please tell thks jager
Don't put people in for a few wars until they have been around for a week or two.

We don't let any new joiners war until they have sat one out first. They also have to be active in chat and donate/request to show that they are active.
We brought this in as we used to have people who would join, put straight into war and then either left, didn't use both attacks or would just hit whoever they wanted to and not follow the war strategy.
add max 2-3 new guys per war. look if they do both attacks and HOW they attack.
kick inactive and bad attackers. repeat until you have a good base of players active and that attack properly.
edit: don't add high th. just lower than the average of your clan

but for a new clan (i suppose like the OP) my way is the only one to do because lose to many wars means even the good players will leave
We use a third party communication app to opt in weekly for wars and share strategies for specific bases... It helps weed out the hoppers and inactives. Hoppers won't take the time to d/l the app and inactives won't opt in for that week's wars
