Seems nothing is coming back. So try to find another game to play along with clash so if any point you are done with clash you can move along & even if you still play clash you will still not play as before so you will have time for another one

I developed a raiding strat that generated as much as 900k of each resource in 15 min of raiding on good days. And I taught LOTS of ppl in my clan how to do it. Most of them shared your sentiments before I taught them...

I heard so much of the "can't play, can't progress" nonsense from so many of them (it was the only way they could cope with their slow progress). No one wants to believe they're playing "wrong;" they'd rather delude themselves into believing they just can't play as much as the amazing maxed out guy next to them.



In short, pre-update CoC did not require a massive time investment to progress quickly (if you knew what you were doing). Post-update brings progress to a virtual halt if you don't invest enormous amounts of time into it.

I do not want to log onto this game every 2 hours for an entire day.

Let me get this straight.....farming in champ.???

Ok understand there is a bunch who state they farm in champ. Understand getting loot with big troops isn't farming.

I haven't been attacked in 12 days. I play relaxed all day everyday. Even with this horrible update.

Understand what farming really is.....and do it while dumping loot into walls, defenses or whatever before you logoff.

Champs is not a farming league....I see a bunch who state it is....but they bring huge troops, gain loot and call it farming.

Ah, it's the farming definition police.

Where does it say that farming is only using low level troops in low league?

Farming is raiding and making profits whether you like it or not.

Again, no one is asking you to log in every 2 hours. I'm progressing just as fast spending a hell of a lot less time on here - go figure that one out

@OP: If you wanna play the game the relaxed way, do it as many of us are doing... come down to silver league... benefits are... there are bases with same loot you will find up there.. I see 2 inferno maxed bases down in silver holding 3/5k de etc... you have option of using your 1.5 hour army too or if you wanna just chill do barch loon gibarch... you wont find much dead bases but since you prepared to play with 1.5 hour army this will probably save you an hour, coming down i.e.

Benefits... you almost never get a shield, but you rarely get attacked & thus dont loose anything... what you gain up there in bonuses you probably loose in defense, so down to silver gold, play it as we players wanna play...

I do barchs or healer giant sometimes loons down here depending on my schedule & most time I dont need more than 2/3 spells, heroes nitact, rarely need cc, etc... pros outweigh the cons.. if any...

exactly the same with me... though I find peace playing hayday now, but that too just to find some peace & literal farming

On a lighter note: why does your GS label keep coming & going ? Is it sensitive to your posts ???

I am "playing the game the way it is meant to be played" now, farming in Champion 3. I like attacking these bases with inferno as it can be a good challenge. But if I can attack only once every 1.5 hours. If an active max defence (almost) TH10 like me loses 5-12k DE as well as a million each of gold and elixir every day, then what hope does a casual have? None whatsoever. I win a majority of defences but still when people bring 2-6 golems and 5 spells, they can get a chunk of my loot.

And I absolutely dread the end of these holidays and 1 gem boost. I don't quite fancy whipping out my phone in front of my colleagues to play Clash every 90 minutes

On top of that, this new playstyle is unforgiving. There is little margin for error when attacking these TH10 bases. One mistake and your 300k army is gone and your heroes are sleeping for 90 minutes without you getting loot. I really doubt if I would want to play like this during work hours anyway.

Where are the collector raids or rushed storage raids that I could do in between the full attacks pre-update? What is the sense in removing those, intentionally or otherwise? The only positive I see is the need for much less nexting, but that is only because I am capable of attacking infernos (and please note the 90 minutes training time again).

Anyway, my main point is - where is my fun, relaxing game that I could log into for a few minutes? Why has it been replaced with this new game where every attack needs to be a war attack? Where is the additional loot I should get for losing so many resources every day. Last I checked, the upgrade costs haven't been reduced.

Yeah ..me too ..im in Master 3 before update cause Master League is my comfort zone ..now im in Champion 1 going to Titan..forced to push to higher league because of this update ..i need some loots and DE to save my dark elixir troops and heroes..so much time consuming

Consider the value of using fewer spells and getting slightly less loot in the process. I always cringe when I see someone use all 5 spells attacking my base. It's like they aren't even trying to make loot at a decent rate. If your troops only take 1.5 hours to make then only use 3 spells per attack. If that means you get 60% instead of 65% so be it. It is a worthwhile tradeoff. You don't have to take every drop of loot from the person you are attacking. Just get in, get your league bonus, and get out (I am assuming if you are making a war army you are at least in a high enough league to make it worth attacking with a war army). Faster attacks for fewer percentage (as long as it is at least 50%) are better than less frequent attacks for a greater percentage.

I generally use all five spells cos I like to make sure plus when you are attacking strong th10s its kind of necessary. It's 5 gems though to rebuild your spells in 30 minutes or so.
