FACT: People are adapting: App Store ratings are increasing exponentially again!

As you see, ratings of the current version are going back to the normal ammount, probably it will reach 4.5 stars in the next few days.

There was a thread yesterday about how there was a surge of five star reviews on the app store. Seems kinda fishy how an app that was on two and a half stars is all of a sudden back to four stars. Also you only showed us two reviews.

That's because of 1 gem boost. You can plenty of resource right now. People will start hating this game again once this 1 gem boost is over.

Edit: There has been several threads on this topic here on the forums. It seems that the app store system for whatever reason hides bad ratings and reviews.

Also, every thread on this forum exposing this has been closed down.

No, the App Store rating is rising because, supercell hasn't broke the bank yet. Not to hard to manipulate it really! Now, the question becomes, would supercell do that? in my opinion, yes, they absolutely would. Milk that bank for as long as possible. Btw, the forums aren't calming down, and people are still complaining. It's just that the "cat crew" is banning peeps (the ones that "complain") for the stupidest of reasons. You know, it's not good for business to have people complaining to much. It's just easier to ban them. ;-)

They're being banned because the complaining people are instigating toxic behavior in the forums by repetitively spewing unconstructive feedback. There are some players against the update that do provide constructive feedback and thus they do not get banned, but when hundreds of fresh spawn and trainees make threads that literally depict the same "issues" with the same nagging tone.. then it becomes a problem.

This shouldn't come as a surprise. A lot of people would get new phones or iPads for Xmas and be asked to rate the app again. My impression is that about 50% of people liked the update. I personally didn't mind the direction it has taken, just the execution. If the in game economy is okay and I can still profit without having to change my level of activity, which I can't do, then I would be okay with it too. I have to say though that the economy is not great right now and would be worse still without the 1 gem boost. A lot of people are struggling and may not be able to adapt to this new game.

That could be said about 90% of the threads started. What do you think a forum is for? All feedback is constructive "whether you agree or not", by banning peeps for nonsense makes the people doing the banning look real bad.

Also, it's kind of funny you specifically mention the peeps who are against the update. I have read a lot "toxic" ♥♥♥♥ from those who are pro-update. The difference being, only one of those groups are actively being silenced. Go figure heh?
